Recently behind the scenes shots from U-ie’s recent pictorial with ‘Instyle’ Magazine were released.
In the pictures U-ie can be seen in a blue sleeveless dress and shows off her bright Spring fashion sense by wearing orange heels. Since U-ie is known for her “honey thighs” she is receiving attention for her new slimmer appearance. Her voluminous body is still apparent but in this photo-shoot U-ie’s long slim arms and legs caught netizens eyes.
After the pictures were uploaded to online community boards comments were left like, “too skinny“, “...it’s unrealistic envy…how did you manage…“, and “exercise required to be like that, huh?” among other reactions.
Though U-ie has constantly been praised for her body she has also received her share of negative reactions for a previously fuller figure. No matter what size she is U-ie has always maintained her beauty and gracious charms.

Joo Won and UEE's love changed directions again.
Tae-hee (Joo Won) and Ja-eun (UEE of After School) had a date in the storage room after getting back together in the episode of KBS 2TV drama "Ojak Brothers" broadcasted on the 12th.
Tae-hee held UEE's hand tightly and said, "I feel it now". When she started telling him off for not eating due to his own temper he blocked her mouth with a kiss. They exchanged their affectionate feelings with a kiss.
Giving her the ring, he asked "Will you take it back?" and she accepted it with a smile. Their rocky love life had come back on track again.

After School's UEE has once again proved her acting skills, making the entire nation cry with her tears.
On the fifty-third episode of the KBS drama "Ojak Brothers", aired on February 4th, she hears the cruel truth about being 'the daughter of the assailant' and convulsed in pain.
Ja-eun (UEE) asks Je-ha to be her boyfriend after she let's Tae-hee (Joo Won) see her smashed in a club. Je-ha said, "If you are going to be like this, why don't you just run away with Tae-hee? You don't even have the guts to because you're the daughter of the assailant... do you have the right to cry a single tear?"
Maybe that provoked her. She poured out tears and cried loudly. It seems like the reality she tried to avoid came back to her like a dagger.
Without a trace of the bright and happy Ja-eun, she was now ragged and pale with a broken heart and guilt.
After the episode aired, messages and comments have flooded praising UEE how well she had performed and helped in making the drama engaging.
