[News] U-ie’s Acting Evokes Emotions in Viewers

After being given the rookie actress award at the KBS Drama Awards, After School's U-ie is continuing to establish herself as a notable actress.

Currently starring in the popular drama ‘Ojakgyo Brothers’, U-ie entices viewers by being able to passionately express her emotions in ways that touch them personally. In episode 44, U-ie manages to display sorrow, helplessness and even joy in a short period of time. Even when she was showing sad emotions U-ie still managed to display her charm.

Comments from followers of the show included “…I cry, I laugh and cry – the best actress…” and “U-ie, tears daebak! I started crying watching…“. In regards to U-ie’s progression as an actress a representative stated that she has been “…acting more mature and working quietly to try and spread the interests (of the drama) to viewers“.
