[NEWS] Big Bang greeted by 1,200 fans in Taiwan

Big Bang visited Taiwan for the first time and set a record for the largest number of crowd to greet an international star.

Over 1,200 of fans waited at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to welcome the arrivial of Big Bang. Upon entering the airport, the members looked to be visibly shocked and glad as they warmly welcomed by large crowd.

Big Bang held a press conference for their new album ‘Alive’ at the Taipei 101 which were attended by several local media outlets. During the event, the group was awarded platinum and double platinum awards from the CEO of Warner Music for their ‘4.5 Special Edition’ and ‘Alive’ albums.

Recently, Warner Music announced that Big Bang achieved double platinum for its ‘Alive’ album. The album has dominated various Taiwan music charts such as best selling charts and mobile music charts.
