The popularity of Busker Busker’s spring-themed track “Cherry Blossom Ending” is rising again!

A year after its release in March of last year, the hit song climbed back up the music charts. The song topped at 9th place on Melon Real-Time Chart as well as ranked high on Mnet and Naver Music music charts.

Busker Busker released the song last year and it became an instant hit with the public. As the spring is approaching, it ended up getting into music charts once again. Such a case very rarely happens, proving Busker Busker’s rising popularity.

Meanwhile, 2AM’s “One Spring Day” and Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon’s “And One” have also received much love during the upcoming spring.

Busker Busker’s American drummer Bradley Moore will host a radio show.

On March 13, TBS eFM, an all-English-language radio channel, announced that Bradley will host a radio program called ‘Moonlit Tracks’ from 3 to 5 AM six days per week starting on Tuesday.

The show will play foreign pop music and movie soundtracks. TBS eFM is available in Seoul and other cities such as Busan, Gwangju and Yeosu.

Bradley formed Busker Busker with his students in 2011 while working as an English lecturer at Sangmyung University and drew attention after appearing in the popular audition show ‘Superstar K.’ As the band’s debut album was a big hit last year, the members enjoyed much popularity.

Bradley also married his girlfriend of six years in Korea last September.

The trio Busker Busker, who rose to fame through “SuperStar K3” in 2011, has signed with a new management agency.

Having already made their successful debut with “Cherry Blossom Ending” which dominated the music charts, the boys have finally found a label to call home. They recently signed with a new label called ‘Chung Chun Music’ and their much awaited comeback is coming to light.

The agency stated, “We respect Busker Busker’s passion in music. We will put our best effort into producing songs that enable the group to communicate with the public.”

Under their new label, Jang Bum Joon will solely focus on music, such as writing songs and lyrics while Brad, and Kim Hyung Tae will receive agency support upon request.

On April 26th, Mnet aired the recent ‘M! Countdown Hello Japan’, the large-scale M! Countdown concert which was held at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan on April 25th. The event was co-produced by Mnet and Japan’s Space Shower TV.

The special concert was hosted by miss A’s Suzy and MBLAQ’s Lee Joon. A total of 16 teams performed in the event including Dynamic Duo, miss A, Busker Busker, SECRET, SISTAR, U-KISS, Yoon Mirae, A-Pink, MBLAQ, John Park, Supernova, Tiger JK, 4minute, FT Island, and more.

Busker Busker makes another huge achievement with their first album surpassing 50,000 in album sales. Hante music site revealed that since the release of Busker Busker's first album on the 29th of March up to 18th of April, Busker Busker's first album made over 50,476 album sales.

This is their debut album and only a few artists who release their debut album receive such huge amount of attention and album sales, they share the same accomplishment of top hallyu stars now such as Super Junior, Big Bang, TVXQ, and JYJ who also received more than 50,000 album sales for their debut album in less than a month upon it's release. Meanwhile, Busker Busker's tickets for their concert got sold out in a heartbeat and they are preparing for their nationwide tour in Korea starting this 4th of May in Seoul.

Rookie group Busker Busker has been invading music charts since its official debut onto the music scene. After achieving an all-kill for five straight days, the Superstar K3 runner-up continues its winning streak with a number one finish on Gaon Chart.

According to the latest rankings of Gaon Chart, Busker Busker dominated the Singles Chart and Album Chart between April 1 and 7. The group’s title track, “Cherry Blossom Ending” rose atop of the Singles Chart while other tracks also grabbed the top seed with “First Love” at #2 and “Yeosu Night Sea” at #3 spot.

Busker Busker’s “Loneliness Amplifier”, “Ideal Type” and “The Flowers” also made within the top 10 ranking #6, #7 and #8 respectively.

Completing the top 10 is Huh Gak with “The Person That Loved Me” at #4, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon’s OST track “Missing You Like Crazy” at #5, CNBLUE’s “Hey You” at #9 and “Love Is All The Same” of Yangpa, Davichi’s Haeri and HANNA at #10 spot.

Mnet's "M! Countdown" is back this week full of amazing performances!

For this weeks's line up, girl groups 4minute and SISTAR along with soloist Huh Gak and Seo In Guk all make their comeback performances. While SM Entertainment's latest idol group, EXO-K made their much-anticipated debut.

Rookie group Busker Busker is not planning on boycotting the major networks.

A representative from Mnet stated on April 10th, “There’s no reason for Busker Busker to boycott main channels. We believe the way they didn’t set up schedules for TV shows because they didn’t want them to interfere with their preparations for their concert in May was misunderstood.”

“The members of Busker Busker have only been working on their music. If it involves a stage where they can perform great performances, they have no reason to turn any offers down”, the representative added.

It has been reported that a certain station requested for them to appear on a popular program but they declined the offer, and that is where this rumor apparently stemmed from.

Meanwhile, Busker Busker will hold its first exclusive concert “Youth Bus” from May 5 to 6 in Seoul.

Busker Busker will perform for the first time in Japan as part of a special concert to be held by the Mnet show “Countdown” in Saitama on April 25.

The band which was runner-up on the third season of reality television singing competition “Super Star K” has also confirmed its planned appearance at “M! Countdown Hello Japan.”

“It’s our very first show in Japan, so we are super excited and nervous. We will try our best to make it a show that can unite the audience even though we come from different countries,” the band said.

Other artists set to appear include Yoon Mirae, Miss A, 4Minute, Sistar, Tiger JK, FT Island, Mblaq and U-Kiss along with Japanese acts.

Mnet said that it will frame the event as a diplomatic music festival for Korean and Japanese fans. The show will be co-hosted by Japanese music channel Space Shower TV.

Meanwhile, Busker Busker has been enjoying the spotlight in Korea as its new album was released on March 29 and is doing exceptionally well on the charts.

Rookie group Busker Busker has been invading music charts since its official debut onto the music scene. After achieving an all-kill for five straight days, Busker Busker continues its winning streak with a number one finish on Billboard K-Pop chart.

According to the updated list of Billboard, the trio’s title track, “Cherry Blossom Ending”, ranked first on its hottest 100 K-Pop songs chart. The rest of the chart showed a Busker Busker domination with First Love coming in at fourth, Yeosu Night Sea at sixth, Lonely Amplification at eighth and Ideal Type coming in at ninth.

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon came in 2nd with her ‘The King 2 Hearts’ OST titled “I Miss You Like Crazy” while Big Bang followed in 3rd with “Fantastic Baby”. 2AM came in 5th with “I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me”, CNBLUE in 7th with “Hey You”, and Ailee in 10th with “Heaven”.

CNBLUE continues its winning streak with a first place finish on the Gaon weekly chart.

On the Gaon’s compiled data between March 25 to 31, CNBLUE’s latest title track “Hey You” made its debut atop Gaon’s Weekly Singles Chart. The track, which was released on March 26, was downloaded 350,176 times to come out on top.

In addition, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon’s “Missing You Like Crazy”, which is the soundtrack to MBC’s “The King 2Hearts”, stormed to the #2 spot with with 337,821 downloads.

Busker Busker, who currently getting all buzz, jumped straight to #3 spot with their title song “Cherry Blossom Ending”, off of their debut album “Busker Busker.”

Meanwhile, CNBLUE also dominated the Weekly Album Chart with their third mini-album “EAR FUN.” Following the band is idol group SHINee with “Sherlock” on #2 and Busker Busker’s self-titled album on #3 spot.

After sweeping off the charts with an all-kill in five straight days, rookie group Busker Busker once again proved its arising popularity after selling out their entire first concert in just a matter of minutes.

Tickets for Busker Busker’s first exclusive concert, ‘Youth Bus’ were completely sold out in just five minutes after going on sale, forcing concert sponsors CJ E&M to hurry and add additional dates to fulfill the requests.

CJ E&M has received numerous request from fans who were not able to purchase tickets and decided to add an additional date. Originally scheduled for May 5th and 6th, Busker Busker will also be performing on the 4th for a total of three concerts. The concert will take place at Yonsei University which can house a 900 member audience.

JYP Entertainment’s Park Jin Young is fascinated by Busker Busker’s debut album.

Trio Busker Busker may be a newcomer to the K-Pop scene, but they have taken over the online download charts for 5 straight days!

Busker Busker released their very first album ‘Busker Busker’ on March 29th, and the title song “Cherry Blossom Ending” is enjoying an all-kill on all music charts. Other tracks from its album are also steadily climbing up the ranks instead of falling.

As of April 2, the fifth day since release of the album, three of Busker Busker’s songs lined up in a row on top 3 spots with “Cherry Blossom Ending” cemented on #1 while “Ideal Type”, “First Love”, “Yeosu Night Sea”, “Loneliness Amplifier” and “Blossoms” all made it into the top 10.

Busker Busker had previous taken over the charts ranking #1 on all the charts with the song ‘Ideal Type’ which was revealed ahead of the album, perhaps foretelling that the album would be a hit.

T-ara’ Ham Eunjung has showered her praises to the rookie Busker Busker’s new album.

On April 1st, Eunjung wrote on her personal Twitter, “Busker Busker's album -thumbs up- *_*) I think I definitely need to go to 'Yeusoo Night Sea' sometime. What I'll do there, I want to listen to the sound of the waves^^ heuha I was slowly melting as soon as I listened to track 1 so I downloaded all of the songs...”

“Yeosu Night Sea” is one of the 11 tracks in Busker Busker’s debut album which was released on March 29th. Written by the leader Jang Bum Joon himself, the song is described as his ‘most attached song’.

Busker Busker’s debut album topped various charts on March 29, the day that it was released.

The title track from the album, “Cherry Blossom Ending,” became the No. 1 song on various music download Web sites from Olleh Music to Soribada, Mnet and Naver Music, among others. Other songs “Ideal Lover” and “First Love” secured top spots on the same charts.

Jang Bum Joon, the leader of the new group, took part in producing all 11 songs contained in the album. The success of the album may help show that the group, which was a runner-up in the third season of the singing-survival show “Superstar K,” was not just a flash in the pan.

The band will hold its first live showcase on May 5 and May 6 at Yonsei University’s Centennial Hall.
