On April 26th, Mnet aired the recent ‘M! Countdown Hello Japan’, the large-scale M! Countdown concert which was held at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan on April 25th. The event was co-produced by Mnet and Japan’s Space Shower TV.
The special concert was hosted by miss A’s Suzy and MBLAQ’s Lee Joon. A total of 16 teams performed in the event including Dynamic Duo, miss A, Busker Busker, SECRET, SISTAR, U-KISS, Yoon Mirae, A-Pink, MBLAQ, John Park, Supernova, Tiger JK, 4minute, FT Island, and more.
New couple of ‘Music and Lyrics’ John Park and actress Park Jin Hee made headlines with their recent sweet kiss at a baseball game.
On April 18, John Park and Park Jin Hee made an appearance at Jamsil Stadium for a baseball game between Doosan Bears and Samsung Lions. Park Jin Hee threw the opening pitch and John Park hit the first pitch. After the ceremony, the couple had a sit and enjoyed the baseball game.
During the game John Park and Park Jin Hee were shown on the huge screen for the ‘Kiss Time’ event and the excitement flowed through the entire stadium. Park Jin Hee kissed John Park on the cheek and shocked the whole baseball park. She was embarrassed and covered her face, and John Park responded with a smile.
The sweet couple is currently making music together on MBC’s ‘Music and Lyrics’.

Singers Jay Park and John Park have both been picked to star in a new music-based MBC reality television show.
Jay will be paired with actress Lee Si Young and John with Park Jin Hee in “Music and Lyrics,” according to the network.
On the show, Jay Park and Lee will work together to compose a song for newbie girl group Tiny-G.
“I’m confident that I can do this, and I think that as a team, the song we create will become a big hit,” Jay Park said.
Lee said that she was also excited about the invitation to star in the show.
“I’m a bit nervous, so instead of thinking that I’m on a show, I’m going to try to relax and try my best to be Lee Si Young off the camera,” said the singer.
John Park and Park Jin Hee also said that the experience would be fun, and each said they were happy with the other half of their pair.
The show will air from Saturday and replace “We Got Married,” canceled just two days ago.

Singer John Park has been appointed as the special MC for the April 3rd episode of MBC’s ‘Show Champion’.
John Park will take the place of regular MC, Shindong, who is currently preparing for the ‘Super Show 4 in Paris’ to be held on April 6th. John Park had previously won first place on the same show on March 13 with his song “Falling.”
“It’s an honor I was asked to MC such a great program. I will do my best for the show”, John Park said.
This will be John Park’s second hosting duty after Mnet’s M Countdown, and there are a lot of expectations that he will do well.

Lee Hyori is referencing the fact that artists from Mnet’s Superstar K find it difficult to appear on major networks, as the main channels often block rival audition singers from appearing on their programs.
Currently Lee Hyori hosts SBS “Jung Jae Hyung and Lee Hyori’s You & I” with Jung Jae Hyung, a show that invites musicians from various genres.
The "Superstar K2" runner-up, John Park, recently made his official debut with his first mini album "Knock" along its title track "Falling". His debut received a hot response, and entered within the top 10 of various music charts.
On March 18th, John Park ranked first on Hanteo Chart's real time record sales as well as the daily record sales. His mini album "Knock" has sold 20,000 copies in only 20 days.
His agency, Music Farm Entertainment announced, "John Park’s first mini-album ‘Knock’ is still carrying on the momentum even after 4 weeks since its release. It is becoming a steady seller as it sold 20,000 copies within 20 days of its release."

In addition to the two acts, other notable musicians present at the event will include Lee Han Chul and bands Soran and Bye Bye Sea. The music festival runs from April 28 to April 29 in Goyang, Gyeonggi.
The final lineup will be posted on the festival’s Web site on March 28.
