[NEWS] Super Junior voted as ‘Best Korean Language Teacher’

Hallyu group Super Junior has been selected as artist that best fits to be Korean language instructor.

Kyunghee University recently conducted a K-Pop survey on 524 foreigners in South Korea from March 26 until March 31. The survey asked the foreign students “Which celebrity would be the best Korean language teacher?”

Super Junior was voted #1 with 22.1% of votes from foreigners from 65 different countries including the US, England, France, China, Japan and more. Followed by TVXQ with 14% of votes, Girls’ Generation with 12.5% and Big Bang with 9.6% of votes.

For the ‘Best Tour Guide’ survey, 37.7% of the participants selected Girls’ Generation taking the girls to first place. Super Junior came second with 20.2% and followed by 2PM with 10.2% and Big Bang with 8.6% of votes.

The survey also asked the participant to vote which media outlet introduced them to K-Pop. Most of the foreigners selected Youtube with 24.1% of votes. Followed by local media with 23.3%, local programs with 17% and Facebook with 10.5% of votes. 58% of the participants admitted that their have become more interested in Korea after being familiar with K-Pop.
