[News] EXO holds successful debut showcase in Korea

Marking the 100th day anniversary of its online promotions, SM Entertainment's newest idol groups EXO-K and EXO-M finally made its much-anticipated debut through a large-scale showcase.

On March 31, the 12-member EXO held its debut showcases at Seoul's Olympic Hall of the Olympic Park in front of some 3,000 fans. There was an unprecedented 8,000 people have applied for a ticket and among them, 3,000 people have been selected by invitation.

EXO caught the eyes of fans as it showed its versatility and talents as individuals, as units, and as an entire group from its long preparation.

The showcase opened up with a video of the boys arriving from EXOplanet. After its opening video EXO-K’s Kai, EXO-M’s Tao, Lay, Lu Han, Xiu Min continued to a performance of ‘History’ showing off their powerful choreography.

In addition, Lu Han and Chen sang ‘Baby Don’t Cry,’ Baek Hyun and D.O.What is Love’ showing off their ability to hit high notes. Followed with Kai and Lay performing their new song ‘Two Moons,’ continuing on with one-by-one engage in a rap and dance battle of other members.

Super Junior’s Leeteuk took on the role of MC for his juniors that day as the EXO members shared, “When Super Junior debuted we received the help of DBSK, I came here today to be helpful as well, but it seems I have rather learned of passion and ambition.

For EXO’s final stage the group performed its debut title song ‘MAMA to thunderous applause.

Meanwhile, EXO’s official debut song, ‘MAMA’ will be revealed on April 9. Sharing is sexy
