[News] Shinhwa kicks off "2012 Shinhwa Grand Tour: The Return" in Seoul

The legendary K-Pop group, Shinhwa, kicked off their successful comeback concert in Seoul!

On March 24 and 25, Shinhwa held their "2012 Shinhwa Grand Tour: The Return" at the Seoul Olympic Park. The live concert tour marked Shinhwa's comeback to the music industry after a four year hiatus, as well as the 14th anniversary of the group.

Shinhwa boasted it still stood strong, drawing in a 20,000 member audience. The group opened the show with their second album’s title song, "T.O.P". The members performed a total of 24 songs, including "Hey, Come On", "One More Time", "Destiny of Love", "It’s Ok", "The Solver" and their comeback track, "Venus."

The group prepared a special video to show their gratitude to their fans, who have been supporting them over the years. Shinhwa then appeared singing "Once In a Lifetime" with the fans.

Concluding their two-day concert, Shinhwa relayed to their fans, "Thank you for loving us over the 14 years."

Prior to the successful concert, the 20,000 tickets were sold out within 40 minutes of going on sale on 13 February, which amounted up to a gross of 2 billion won.

Meanwhile, the tour will continue, at the conclusion of promotional activities in Korea, with three shows in Japan, two in China and one in Taiwan between the end of April and June.
