Singer IU has been chosen as the new CF model for Nongshim hururuk noodles. Nongshim announced that on the 19th of March, they will be asking fans on what they want IU to star in for their product. They will be posting on Social Networking sites and will be asking their customers on what they prefer for the new CF and it will depend on the viewers choice.

Nongshim devised this idea to interact more with their customers with real time communication sites. They will be filming a video of choice from the viewers, may it be a CF, music video or an interactive video. Also, Nongshim stated, "We chose IU to be our new model because of her fresh and youthful image which appeals not only to the younger generation but also to uncle fans". For the recent pictorial for the endorsement of the product, IU appeared in all pink outfit showing off her innocent and cute charms.
