[News] Big Bang sets new records on Billboard

Big Bang has achieved a ‘Perfect All-Kill’ as soon as the group released their 5th mini album ‘ALIVE’ on February 29. After sweeping the Korean music charts, Big Bang continues to make an impact and takes over the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 chart.

Big Bang's five title track concurrently placed within the top eight of the chart. ‘BLUE’ cemented its top position while ‘LOVE DUST’ came at #2, ‘BAD BOY’ at #3, ‘FANTASTIC BABY’ at #5 and ‘AIN'T NOT FUN’ at #8.

In addition, Big Bang has once again proved their status as global K-Pop representatives and extends their influence beyond Asia to the world. It has been announced that Big Bang made it onto the U.S. Billboard 200 charts as well. Their latest album ‘ALIVE’ debut on the chart at #150, right above Justin Bieber‘s ‘My World 2.0’. Big Bang sets another record as this marks the first time a K-Pop group has achieved such an honor.

That wasn’t all as Big Bang’s ‘ALIVE’ album also charted #4 on the Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart, #22 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart and #4 on Billboard’s World Albums chart.
