[News] Singer Lee Dong-won Charged With Marijuana Possession & Usage

Singer Lee Dong-won has been arrested without warrant on charges of habitual marijuana usage.

The Incheon Police Station reported on February 14th that the 61-year-old singer was taken into custody on the 13th at about 11:30 AM in Gangnam of Seoul. He was allegedly caught with 3.29 grams marijuana possession in his personal car on February 7th at about 10 AM in a parking lot in the Gangnam area. He's also being accused to regular usage of the drug. The police is currently in the process of requesting for Lee's arrest warrant.

Lee was in his prime as a singer in the 1980's and 90's with hits like "Perfume" and "Breakup Song".
