Actress Kim Tae Hee has been forced to pull out of a press conference for a CF in Japan, leading to the event’s cancellation.

On February 21st, Kim Tae Hee was supposed to attend the press conference for her new CF for the Japanese cosmetic brand of pharmaceutical company, Rohto. However, just one day before the actual event, the cancellation occured.

According to Japanese sports newspaper Sponichi, the event got cancelled because of hateful comments on internet community boards and various blogs in light of Japan’s ‘Takeshima Day’ on February 22. Her agency eventually decided to pull her out of the scheduled event because of safety concerns.

Kim Tae Hee appeared in the Japanese drama, "Me and My Star’s 99 Days" but began to receive criticism from anti-Korean Japanese protestors in October 2011. The reason was that Kim Tae Hee had advocated the disputed Dokdo Island as Korean territory. Sharing is sexy
