On Januray 24th, 2NE1 and Gummy held the "YG Girls' Meeting" for fans who purchased 2NE1's Go Away single last year. The nearly three-hour fan meeting was like a party, filled with awesome DJ sets by REM-ConMademoiselle Yulia, and the CYBERJAPAN Dancers plus a fun 20 minute set by rapper Verbal of m-flo.

2NE1 MANAGES AS A TRIO, BUT WHERE IS BOM?

Dara began 2NE1's set explaining to fans Bom's absence. She read a letter from Bom that apologized to fans for nor appearing and told them of Bom ill health. The girls performed "I Am The Best", "Can't Nobody" and "Go Away".

According to one fanaccount, the venue was quite small so the Blackjack Nolza members were able to get really close to the girls. Though their appearance was relatively short, our girls still managed to excite the crowd and leave fans happy they attended.

AMAZING ANNOUNCEMENT!

During the course of the "YG Girls' Meeting", our girls made the shocking announcment that they will be featured on m-flo's upcoming "Square One' album. The album will contain 15 new songs and the DVD will include new PVs and a special 30 minute digest video.

m-flo is a Japanese hip hop group consisting of producer and DJ Taku Takahashi and MC Verbal. After former member Lisa left the group, they have had a host of guest vocalists on their albums/singles including Boa, Namie Amuro, Crystal Kay, and Bonnie Pink (a Japanese singer-songwriter). m-flo has also collaborated with popular Western artists, Kanye West and The Beastie Boys.

This is an exciting collaboration and something that fans should certainly look forward to. the album is set for release on March 14th.

PLEASE NOTE: This collaboration has not been officially posted on either m-flo or 2NE1's websites,. We confirmed with several YG Girls' Meeting attendees and based off of other translations, Verbal did say there would be a 2NE1 collaboration. However, as with anything YGE related things are subject to change. 2NE1's schedule and activities are very hectic right now. We hope that this works out, but don't be too upset if it falls through.

GUMMY SHINES

Gummy performed "I'm Sorry" (JPN Ver.) and "Forget Me Now" (B-side). According to reports, Gummy looked happy to hear Japanese fans say "Gummy is cute" at the YG Girls' Meeting Tokyo, because Korean fans say she is cool not cute. Gummy had returned to Korea after the YG Family concerts, but returned for this fan meeting.
