[News] After School Debuts at #6 on Oricon Music Chart!
After School officially charted at #6!!! It’s their best first chart on the Oricon T_T This means a lot due to the others who charted at top 5:
#1 are SKE #2 Kim Hyun Joon #3 are Morning Musume #4 are BREAKERZ #5 is Matsushita Yuya
So #6 is such a really good position considering an AKB sister unit that has lately gained more fans (their last singles have been selling so well, and a couple of their members are popular enough to get into AKB’s senbatsu), Kim Hyun Joon has a huge fanbase, and what to say about the rest, even though MoMusu haven’t been the same of their first generations days, they’re still popular and the last song is good enough to chart at #3, BREAKERZ are one of the most popular rock bands with good sells, and Matsushita Yuya’s popularity keeps growing ever since he debuted on 2008. And from #8 to #30 there are tones of new entries, this is the first day in 4 months I haven’t seen Maru Maru Mori Mori chart in the top 30 XD However, tomorrow the Oricion chart will go back to normal, something that happens every time a lot of new singles get the same release date… the day after some have fallen off the top 30 so quick, and the likes of Maru Maru, AKB’s last singles, Akanishi Jin, Namie Amuro and others might regain their latest positions in the daily charts, because those are the ones with more sells.
It’ll be hard for After School to end the week inside the top 10, but I have the hope they’ll manage to do it.
