[News] 2NE1 meets an amazing fan on IGGY concert

During 2NE1's visit in New York for MTV Iggy's concert, where they were crowned as 2011 Best New Band in the World, the group met an amazing fan with a terminal cancer.

The fan named Jonathan, a 27-year old disc jockey, got his wish granted to see his favorite band and was given a premium ticket to the MTV Iggy concert. He also given a chance to meet and greet the 2NE1 members with the help of Connecticut Hospice and MTV staffs.

YG Entertainment stated, "After their performance in Times Square on December 13th, 2NE1 visited a fan to lend him their support. The patient has been a fan of 2NE1 ever since their debut and watched their concert through tickets bought by the hospital. He’s been enduring his intense treatments with the hope of seeing 2NE1."

MTV World expressed, "We are delighted to have been able to host Jonathan at the MTV Iggy concert. Jonathan is such a passionate music lover and fan of 2NE1. The band members were thrilled to meet him and very touched that he traveled from Connecticut to see them perform."

The meeting was covered in a local newspaper titled, "Patient Gets Wish To See Favorite Band".
