[INT] New Generation Idol 'X-5' Is Coming

A rookie idol group that deserves attention has appeared. The group X-5 keeps on practicing and practicing in order to stand at the very top. 5 members who have 5 different colors and appeals have been gathered together into one group.

X-5, who is receiving lots of love-calls overseas and has built a name for themselves as new generation idols, has gathered here today.

Q; Introduce Yourselves?
A) 건: 안녕하세요 X-5리더 건입니다.
A; Ghun: Hello, I am Leader Ghun.
태풍: 메인 보컬을 맡고 있는 태풍입니다.
Taefung: I'm the main vocalist, Taefung.
설후: 막내를 맡고 있는 설후입니다.
Sulhu: I'm the maknae, Sulhu.
해원: 몽환적인 눈빛 해원입니다.
Haewon: I'm dreamy-eyed Haewon.
진: X-5에서 랩을 맡고 있는 진입니다.
Zin: I'm X-5's rapper, Zin.

Q) 타이틀 곡 소개
Q: Please introduce your title song

A) 저희 타이틀곡은 '쇼하지마'인데요. 강렬한 음악에 강렬한 퍼포먼스까지 덧붙여서 강렬하게 인사를 드리고 있는 노래입니다. X-5는 강렬한 콘셉트의 음악을 소화하기 위해 남다른 노력을 했다는데요.
A) Our title song is 'The Show is Over'. This is a charismatic and powerful song that greets you with a strong beat and performance. In order to portray the charismatic yet powerful concept that has not been shown before, we have really worked hard.

Q) 안무 연습 어떻게 했는지?
Q: How did you practice your choreography?

A) 다리와 팔에 모래주머니를 차고 진짜 힘들게 고생했던 기억이 새록새록 떠오르네요. .
A) I remember constantly putting on sandbags on our arms and legs and really going through hardships.

Q) 연습 중 귀신을 봤다던데?
Q) I heard you saw a ghost while practicing

A) 이 자리에서 귀신을 본 적이 있어요. 처녀 귀신이 저를 잠깐 안고 도망갔다고.. 대박 날 곡인가 생각했었는데 아니더라고요.
A) There's a time where I saw a ghost right here. A young female ghost just hugged me and ran away.. I wondered if it was going to mean that our song was going to be a big hit but it wasn't.

데뷔 5개월 차인 X-5, 아직은 한국보다 해외에서 더 인기가 많다고 합니다.
With only having debuted within 5 months, X-5 has more popularity overseas than in Korea.

Q) 해외에서 인기가 많다던데?
Q) I hear you have a lot of fans overseas?

A) 저희가 신기한 게 한국에서 보다 일본에서 더 잘 알아보세요. 몇 번 일본에서 공연을 했었는데 플래카드가 굉장히 많았어요.
A) The thing that amazes us is that we're more well-known in Japan than Korea. We've performed in Japan a couple times and there were so many placards.

정상에 대한 욕심이 있는 만큼 긴 연습시간에도 지칠 줄 몰랐습니다.
As much greed we have to reach the top, we didn't know that we would get tired of practicing for so long.

다음 날 오후, 청담동 소재의 미용샵에서 장난기 가득한 X-5 멤버들을 볼 수 있었습니다.
We were able to see X-5 again on the afternoon of the next day at their Salon in Chung-dam-dong.

설후: 당근과 채찍 아시죠? 여기는 당근이고요. 밖에 세 분은 채찍!!
Sulhu: You know about the carrot and the stick right? Right here is the carrot. The 3 outside are the sticks!!

Q) 막내 설후를 많이 괴롭힌다던데?
Q) I've heard that you bother maknae Sulhu alot?

A) 아 저 뽑았어요? 잠시만요.
Ah, you chose me? One second.

"봐봐요. 지금도 때리잖아요~ "
"Lookie. He's even hitting me now~ "

"왜그래? 아니에요 제가 막내한테 얼마나 잘해주는데요."
"What's wrong with you? That's not true, I'm very nice to our maknae."

Q) 옷을 잘 입는 비법?
What's a good way to wear clothes?

A) 너무 많은 시도는 안 좋은 것 같아요. 제가 옷을 잘 입기 위해서 깔 맞춤 여러 가지 시도를 했는데. 깔 맞춤이 다가 아닙니다.
A) It's not too good to try a lot of things. In order for me to wear clothes well, I even tried laying out all my clothes and mixed and matched. Mixing and matching clothes is not all to wearing clothes.

Q) 입을 옷 고르는데 얼마나 걸리는지?
How long does it take to pick out your clothes?

A) 아침에 입으려고 하면 시간이 걸리기 때문에.. 하루 전에 생각을 해 놓고 자요. 이미지 트레이닝을!
A) If I try to preparing what I want to wear in the morning, I run out of time so.. I think about what I want to wear the day before and sleep. Image training!

평균 키 185cm를 자랑하는 X-5. 그 중 키가 가장 큰 진 군에게 그 비결을 물어봤습니다.
X-5 brags about their average height of 185cm. We asked the tallest member, Zin, about what the know-how is.

Q) 키가 몇인지?
Q) How tall are you?

A) 189cm요. 잘 먹고 잘 자고 하니까 금방금방 크더라고요.
A) I'm 189cm. I ate and slept well so I seemed to grow really fast.


형 나 메이크업 끝났어. 이제 헤어만 하면 돼~
진짜? 멋있다.
그렇게 연기하지 마.
Hyung, I'm done with makeup. I just have my hair left~
Really? It's cool.
Don't act like that.

해외 공연을 위해 공항으로 이동하는 차안에서 X-5 멤버들과 좀 더 솔직한 대화를 나눠 봤는습니다.
We've talked a little more to X-5 in the car, while they were on their way to the airport for their overseas performance.

Q) 분위기 메이커?
Q) Mood maker?

A) 다들 저라고 하는데.. 저는 그냥 삶의 모습을.. 웃기다고 생각하시는데 건이형도 만만치 않아요.
A) Everyone says it me.. I just say how things are..and they think it's funny but Ghun-i hyung is also talkative.

Q) 카메라 앞에서 다른 멤버?
Q) Member who become different in front of the camera?

A) 카메라가 꺼지면 "일로와", "일로와" .. 카메라 켜지면 막 이렇게 "누구야~ 잘했어" 이러고.
A) When the camera goes off there's someone that says "Come here," "Come here" .. and when the camera goes back on they are like "Who was that~ You did well".

Q) 러시아에서 살다 왔다던데?
Q) We heard that you lived in Russia and came to Korea?

A) 7년 정도 살다 왔거든요. 거기서 사람들하고 대화도 많이 하다 보니까 언어가..
A) I lived in Russia for 7 years. Since I talked to a lot of people there, I seemed to have picked up the language..

중국 광저우의 한 패션쇼에서 축하 공연을 하게 됐다는 X-5 멤버들은 어느 때 보다 들떠 보였습니다.
X-5 seemed really excited that they were going to put on a congratulatory performance in Guangzhou, China for a fashion show.

Q) 해외팬 공략법?
Q) How are you attracting overseas fans?

A) 일단 그 나라 언어를 좀 해야 해요. 어느 정도 하고 약간 귀엽게..
A) First, you have to learn a little bit of the language. Then you have to speak a little and slightly cute..

Q) 일본 말로 사랑합니다?
Q)What's 'I love you' in Japanese?

A) 아이시떼루!
A) Aishiteru! (愛してる!)

Q) 중국말로?
Q) In Chinese?

A) 워 아이 니!
A) Wo Ai Ni! (我爱你!)

Q) 러시아어로?
Q) In Russian?

A) 야 류부류 지뱌 !
A) Yeh Lublulu jibe (Я люблю тебя)

Q) 공연에 임하는 각오?
Q) How do you think you'll perform?

A) 저희가 준비를 많이 했거든요. 해외 공연은 새로운 팬 분들에게 인사를 드리는 것만큼 저희도 더 열정적이고 새롭고 신선한 무대 하도록 하겠습니다. 화이팅!
We prepared a lot for this. As much as it is us introducing ourselves to new overseas fans, we'll work hard to show a fresh new and more passionate performance. Fighting!
