With an average age of 17.3, the six-member Korean boys group Teen Top held “Teen Top Talk & Live” on December 19th and 20th at Shibuya AX. Originally, two shows were planned, but when all the pre-show-sales tickets were sold out 1 minute after sales began, an afternoon show was added on the 20th, and a total of 3 shows took place.

Teen Top attracted a lot of attention this year with their song “No More Perfume on You,” which is about a younger guy who’s fooling around with an older woman. Despite it being before their Japan debut, they are a next-break K-Pop group whose debut here is greatly anticipated. Despite their youth, they are a talented group who demonstrate precise dancing, a high level of vocal skill and perfected performances. Their live concert began with their most recent hit, “No More Perfume on You.” For the first half of the show, they concentrated on singing tracks from their mini-album released in July, “Roman.”

Partway through the show, fans came up on stage for a game corner which had been prepared in which they were able to catch a glimpse of the members’ real selves. In response to the question “if L.Joe had a girlfriend, how would he confess his feelings to her?,” strange responses like “because he’s a bad guy, he’d confess to her via cell phone message” (Chunji), “because he’s a wimp, he probably wouldn’t be able to say it himself. The girlfriend would confess to him” (C.A.P.), “he can’t get a girlfriend” (Changjo) worked up the concert hall. Meanwhile, with an average age of 17.3 meaning they are growing, it came up during the talk that in comparison to the previous visit to Japan in February, Changjo has grown 7 to 8 centimeters taller.

In the second half, with Changjo and Ricky’s “Dancing Boy Team” dance performance, C.A.P. and L.Joe’s rapper team rap medley, and Chunji and Niel’s vocal team performing “Yuki no hana” in both Korean and Japanese, each member displayed their own area of expertise. For the encore, they came on stage looking sweet and full of Christmas feeling, wearing reindeer antlers and the like on their heads, singing “All I want for Christmas is You” cutely for the end of the show. These shows will be shown on “100% Korean Entertainment Channel MNET” (viewable through Sukapa! and nationwide cable television) on Saturday, February 18th, 2012.

In January of 2012, they plan to release a new song in Korea which is “really cool!” (Niel). With Brave Brothers, who had a hand in hit songs for Big Bang and U-KISS, as the producer, anticipation for Teen Top’s 2012 activities has grown even stronger.
