MK Business News and Social Matrix analyzed 919,951,254 celebrity-related tweets this year (January 1^st – December 8^th). The analysis showed that the celebrity that was the most talked about was JYJ with 3,107,945 tweets. JYJ became a hot topic this year due to the conflict with TVXQ, KBS’s cancellation of appearance, and rumors that their celebratory performance at Daegu IAAF World Championship being not aired. Also, JYJ member Kim Junsu’s casting for “Elisabeth”, the members’ movie and drama OST albums, and concerts in Japan also drew attention of Twitterians.
