Wonder Girls’ Yubin made a successful debut as an actress.
Yubin’s new OCN drama ‘The Virus’ aired its first episode on March 1. During the episode, Yubin, who is casting as an IT professional Lee Joo Young, got to join the same investigation team with Lee Myung Hyun (played by Uhm Ki Joon).
She proved her possibility of acting career and viewers are showing positive reactions to her acting. Yubin received great compliments play Lee Joo young’s rough character’s detail as well.

Wonder Girls rapper Yubin has been chosen as one of the ‘Top 25 Sexiest Musicians under 25’.
According to English music news website ComplexMusic, the 23-year-old Yubin ranked #20 in the world’s ‘Top 25 Sexiest Musicians under 25’. The Wonder Girls member was listed among globally renowed young artists including Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Jessie J, Taylor Swift and Rihanna.
ComplexMusic introduced Yubin saying, “The replacement to the group’s former main rapper Hyuna, Yubin made her Wonder Girls (yes, the band that gave us the cutesy dance to “Nobody”) debut in 2007 with their single “Tell Me.” In addition to writing songs for Wonder Girls, including “Sweet Dreams” and “Me, In,” the adorable lyricist writes songs for other solo artists, such as the track “Do You Know That?” for South Korean R&B singer Kim Bum Soo.”
On the 6th of April, Wonder Girls member Yubin updated her account saying, "At the JYP Workshop athletic day, just finished attending" and shared a photo of her with her ID as proof. It seems that Yubin participated in a athletic workshop that is a workout session to keep them fit.

Despite the Wonder Girl’s busy promotions in the U.S., member Yubin helped out ‘K-pop Star’ contestant Baek Ah Yeon.
On April 2nd, a 30-second video titled “Yubin teaches Baek Ah Yoen how to pose” was posted on an online community board. The video shows Yubin as she demonstrated her suggestions for the gestures for Baek’s performance to help her appear more confident.
After a week of special training, Baek Ah Yeon appeared in the April 1 episode of SBS’s survival audition program ‘K-pop Star’ and received favorable reviews from the jury members.
Netizens commented on the video saying, “Yubin is really cool”, “So this is how Baek Ah Yeon became confident” and “Definitely shows gestures are important too.”

Wonder Girls rapper Yubin heats up the cover of the latest edition of life and entertainment magazine, "1st Look".
For "The Beautiful Stranger" concept of the pictorial, Yubin takes on a daring and sophisticated persona. The sexy rapper dazzles fans with an edgy, chic vibe while rocking a slicked-back hairstyle, floral-patterned mini and coat as well as alluring see-through top.
In the corresponding interview, Yubin remarked, "I don’t think that the three years we spent in America were fruitless. I experienced a new culture and feel much more comfortable speaking English, so I’ve actually gained more than I lost."
Regarding on the new Wonder Girls’ Teen Nick movie, ‘The Wonder Girls‘ the singer-turned-actress said, "I was scared because it was my first time participating in a full-length film, but because of the other members, the burden was lessened to one-fifth". She added, "My character was very similar to how I am in real life, very boyish and down to earth, so it wasn’t too hard."
She concluded the interview with her thoughts on the future, saying, "If ever given the opportunity, I want to be a radio DJ and narrate a documentary. To be able to relay one’s sensibilities through his or her voice is really charming."

Wonder Girls member Yubin stunned fans with her new transformation for the January issue of the British licensed fashion magazine, "Dazed & Confused".
In the pictorial, Yubin posed in unique and beautiful outfits while giving off a strong attitude. Confidently ditching her adorable image, Yubin flaunted her brand new image which received much praises from netizens. She looked absolutely dazzling on her unique hairstyle and colorful makeup.
