Actor Yoo Seung Ho is now in training to become an official army soldier.

On March 12, the Division 27 Recruit Training Center revealed photos of its rookie soldiers, allowing the public to see Yoo Seung Ho as a soldier for the first time.

In the photo is Yoo Seung Ho during a training session as he receives a firearm. He wore a serious expression on his face and is also looking manly in his uniform.

Yoo Seung Ho secretly enlisted in the army on March 5. He will undergo five weeks of basic training before being dispatched to serve for a total of 21 months.

Before starting his mandatory military service, actor Yoo Seung Ho has donated his entire earnings from his last project.

The production team of KBS documentary ‘Live Report’ revealed that Yoo Seung Ho donated the guarantee that he received for narration. He made 3,000,000KRW donation to each of the two families that appeared on the 192th and 231st episode.

The TV show is a humanstic documentary that focuses on people who are stricken with poverty despite the fact that they work hard. It was Yoo Seung Ho’s first try in documentary narration, and the last work before his military service.

Meanwhile, Yoo Seung Ho will receive basic training on March 11th for the military and then join the 27th division to serve out his 21 month-long term.

Actor Yoo Seung Ho has officially enlisted in the army for his mandatory military service.

The 20-year-old actor already mentioned that he’ll be enlisting after he finishes the primetime drama “I Miss You” though there’s no more details to it. And on March 5th at 2PM KST, he enlisted quietly, with only his family and agency CEO present, at a military base in Gangwon Province’s Chuncheon.

The news was posted on his fan cafe after he enlisted. He stated, “I feel sorry that I have gone without telling my fans the enlistment date” and “I thought quietly enlisting without telling anyone would be better for all the other soldiers who were enlisting on the same day.”

Actor Yoo Seung Ho participated in his last pictorial before entering the army in March.

The actor went to Hawaii for his last photo shoot and interview with fashion magazine, Harper’s Bazaar. Recently showcased a mature image through ‘I Miss You’, Yoo Seung Ho shed his boyish looks and gave off a manly appeal in Gucci’s vivid color suits.

In the interview that followed the shoot, Yoo Seung Ho shared his thoughts on his 10 year acting career, entering the army and his most recent drama, ‘I Miss You’.

Actor Yoo Seung Ho has been confirmed to join the impressive roster of MBC’s upcoming mini series “Arang”.

According to his management on April 27th, Yoo Seung Ho has been earmarked to play the Great Jade Emperor, who is free and cheerful but unapproachable and will add weight to the drama.

Yoo Seun Ho is also the most important character that offers the key to the adventure Arang (Shin Min Ah) and Eun Oh (Lee Jun Ki) embarks on.

His management conveyed, “Yoo Seung Ho felt a fresh kind of attraction to this character so he decided to make a special appearance.”

“Arang” is a fantasy mellow historical drama based on an Arang legend about a virgin ghost named Arang (Shin Min Ah) who wants to prove her guilty death with a bad tempered magistrate (Lee Jun Ki) who can see ghosts.

The drama is set to air in July.

The “nation's dongsaengs” IU and Yoo Seung Ho recently reunited for a photoshoot for the 2012 spring/summer collection of casual clothing brand G by GUESS. The two stars were chosen as models for their fresh and youthful image and recently went to Gyeonggi to have a photoshoot with the “modern/mainstream” concept.

On April 2nd, G by GUESS Korea unveiled the CF feature the two stars on its official Youtube channel. IU and Yoo Seung Ho are seen wearing simple yet bright T-shirt and pants. They exhibit the cool and youthful energy perfectly matching for the new collection of the clothing's brand.

On March 28th, a preview still cut showing actor Yoo Seung Ho bleeding from a car accident has been unveiled. The photo shows the dramatic scene of a car accident on TV Chosun’s drama series "Operation Proposal."

Yoo Seung Ho's character Baek Ho lost his consciousness after getting into a car accident. In the scene, Baek Ho’s car turned over as he tried not to bump into another car on the other lane.

Due to the high risk, the production had to do many safety checks on the highway and even utilized a real stuntman to film the dangerous scene.

Operation Proposal is a story about a man who goes back to the past to get his first love back. It’s based on a Japanese drama series of the same title. Starring Yoo Seung Ho and Park Eun Bin and written by Yoo Ji Ryun, Operation Proposal will air its last episode on March 29.

For the March 13th installment of SBS "Strong Heart", After School's UEE talked about her first kiss.

During the episode, UEE shared, "When I was a rookie, I filmed a kiss scene with Yoo Seung Ho for Jo Sung Mo’s music video." She continued, " I was waiting for the articles about the kiss scene, Yoo Seung Ho’s kiss with T-ara’s Jiyeon became a bigger issue and my kiss scene didn’t get any attention."

She surprised everyone when she added, "Although my kiss scene did not become a huge issue, the kiss with Yoo Seung Ho was actually my first kiss."

Actress and director Goo Hye Sun has cast actor Yoo Seung Ho to her next directorial project.

According to Goo Hye Sun's agency YG Entertainment, Goo Hye Sun, who concurrently holds the title of an actress and film director, cast actor Yoo Seung Ho as the male lead for her upcoming short 3D film "Pieces of Memories".

Yoo Seung Ho will be appearing as a figure that represents happy memories, a role that is gathering interest on how the character will relate to his audience.

"Pieces of Memories", which is her follow-up work after her latest "The Peach Tree", is collaboration with director Ji Gil Woong, the man behind "The King and the Clown". The film will be Korea’s first short film to use a 4K 3D system. The story will be about what the lead feels when reminiscing on precious memories.

Actor Yoo Seung Ho get's praised by his high school teacher.

On the 13th of February broadcast of MBC "Happy Day" they made a special coverage on Yoo Seung Ho's high school graduation. On the special feature, they also got to interview one of Yoo Seung Ho's high school teacher.

His teacher praised Yoo Seung Ho and said, "He is very good and diligent in studying. He is good in language and he also likes history. He is really devoted to his studies and if he studies very well he can get into the top universities and be a good student".

Yoo Seung Ho seem's to be one of the brightest students in his high school and despite his busy acting career, he still managed to find time to study his lessons. Meanwhile, Yoo Seung Ho is currently participating in the new drama "Operation Proposal" on TV Chosun.

Actor Yoo Seung Ho chose IU as his best ideal type.

Yoo Seung Ho appeared on the SBS TV show "One Night of TV Entertainment" on January 25th. During the show, the actor was asked what he would like to do most when he had a girlfriend and answered, "I thought about that but there wasn't anything in particular. I think I'll just like the fact that we are together".

He added, "I like someone who connects with me and someone who I can fall in love with at first sight".

Then his "World Cup" went on. IU became the finalist amongst Kang Sora, Krystal, Seohyun, Suzy, Jiyeon, Sulli and more.

When he was asked if he preferred older, same age or younger, he said, "I don't like that I am younger than anyone. I like someone younger but also I don't like having to take care of her. I think I would prefer someone my age who I can be comfortable with" and picked IU.

Meanwhile, Yoo Seung Ho said he would like to be acknowledged as an adult actor and not a little brother.

Teen singer IU and actor Yoo Seung Ho are the new faces of clothing brand "G by Guess".

On January 25th, "G by Guess" announced that the nation's dongsaengs have been chosen as the new endorsement models who will represent the famous brand name. The celebrity pair met on January 17 in a studio in Gyeonggi-do with professional photographer Kim Young Joon and had their first photo shoot for G by Guess 2012 Spring/Summer Collection.

A brand representative stated, "We are happy to have a photoshoot with IU and Yoo Seung Ho who both have positive images."

IU and Yoo Seung Ho were chosen because of their young and youthful image and though the two were not used to being paired with the opposite gender, it was a challenged at first and they were shy but they managed to pull it off in the end.

The staff has high expectations for the two as they have the cool and youthful energy and the staff thinks they are perfect for the new collection of the clothing's brand. Meanwhile, posters and more promotional ads will be released this coming february for the collection.
