2011 YG FAMILY CONCERT LIVE DVD

Some points are Se7en with Big Bang's vocal line Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri, who sang 2NE1's "Lonely" to show a masculine charisma. Also, 2NE1 sang "Ugly" and showed the power of women with Gummy. Taeyang, Gummy, and Park Bom also collaborated with Tablo, whereas Se7en and G-Dragon put on a cool performance with Jinusean.
Also, Big Bang's TOP, G-Dragon, Daesung, and Seungri performed 2NE1's "I am the Best" perfectly, while 2NE1 and Gummy performed Big Bang's "Last Farewell." With these videos you can be touched while experiencing the fun performances, and also watch a "making of" video, with 3 DVDs.

In town to perform as the opening act for the Men’s Fashion Week 2012 (MFW 2012), the two young Korean artistes talk about their love for YG Entertainment
They may seem as different as chalk and cheese, but Korean-American singer Megan Lee and Korean self-taught guitarist Sungha Junghave more than just their love for music in common.
For one, both shot to fame after their videos on video-sharing platform YouTube went viral.
Megan and Sungha were the opening acts for the MFW 2012 yesterday, performing three covers, which included Adele's Someone Like You and Korean singer Narsha's I'm In Love.
The duo also shared common interests in their favourite singers -- all of whom are from Korean entertainment company YG Entertainment -- which should not come as a surprise.
Sungha had made guitar covers of Big Bang's hits and shared them on YouTube, while Megan had won a 2NE1 'Lonely' cover contestheld by YG Entertainment last year.
Speaking in separate interviews, Sungha let on that if there were any singers or groups which he would most love to collaborate with, it was definitely Big Bang.
"I like them because they write their own music, and they have very different colours (personalities). I recently recorded a rearrangement of their latest song 'Blue'," the 16-year-old answered in fluent English.
Reminiscing her first meeting with the four-member group in Korea, after she won the cover contest, the 17-year-old gushed, "It was overwhelming, and crazy. They're super sweet. I almost died. I was shaking and didn't know what to say. I had rehearsed my lines, but completely forgot when I finally met them. I love 2NE1!"
"She was in the elevator with T.O.P (from Big Bang) at YG Entertainment, and she couldn't breathe," Megan's mother quipped beside her daughter.
We quizzed the pair if they had met solo singer SE7EN -- also a performer at the MFW 2012 -- from YG Entertainment.
"No," both Megan and Sungha answered, adding that it would be great if they could meet him.
Megan said excitedly, "I'm going to try to talk to him and not die."
Later that night, both Megan and Sungha met SE7EN at the after party and shared photos of them with the singer on Twitter.

Ratings on the 28th, according to research firm AGB Nielsen Media Research reached an audience of 11.6%! nationally. This is 2.4% increase from the previous Strong Heart episode which reached 9.2% in viewer ratings. Ratings in Seoul jumped from 11.3% to 13.8%.
The news of the broadcast had brought much excitement, with the promise of most YGE artists including; Big Bang, 2NE1, Seven, Psy, Tablo, Sean as well as Gummy. Moreover the actual show did not disappoint, as the artists livened up the variety show with their chemistry. Sharing cute and funny stories about each other as well as unique performances with SBS viewers!
On the same time-slot, viewership rating were 2.6% for KBS’s Win Win and 3.4% for MBC’s 100 Min Talk, SBS definitely came out on top, Thanks to the YG Family effect!

A total of 13 artists from YG Entertainment, have come together to appear in SBS Entertainment program, "Strong Heart."The "Strong Heart - YG Special" would be broadcasted on the 27th, and in this episode, they would be talking frankly and honestly about events that happened inside the agency, which they have never disclosed before.

Interview: YG’s Comprehensive Interview – 2NE1 Cuts
- It seems that more and more young people are becoming fans.
People nowadays barely know me as Yang Hyun Suk of Seo Taeji&Boys, they know me as the president of Big Bang and 2NE1. I used to be able to go to Hongdae restaurants peacefully, without anything bother my mind, but now when I go out there, I see a lot of young people looking at me, and it’s really a but uncomfortable.
- When 2NE1 is going to advance into the United States.
They would be focusing on the United States and Europe first, since three out of the four members have experienced living in English-speaking countries, this is very favorable for them. After Big Bang’s world tour, 2NE1 would concentrate in advancing into Europe and the US, and I’d really want them to start promotions by the end of the year.
- Plans for YG’s “pretty girl group” was revealed and has attracted a lot of atttention.
Some people even go so far as to call them “YG version of SNSD.” Some even say that “YG never used to put much in store about people’s looks, I wonder how this would be seeing as they would be about appearances.” But people should understand that it’s not about attempting to make a second 2NE1 or a second Big Mama. Of course, this girl group is certainly not something I am familiar with, or is similar with my existing groups. These are not only pretty kids doing well in dancing, but I imagine them to be pretty kids who are going to do well in hip-hop too.
- The reason for appearing in SBS compared to other broadcasting companies.
We and SBS have a common understanding and mutual respect for each other. Actually, we don’t look at the broadcasting company, but rather on the directors. For example, PD Park Seong Hun is highly acclaimed, so we worked with Park PD during 2NE1′s comeback stage last year. We want to have a good stage; it was never about wanting to work with one broadcasting station only.
- Watching out for the singers’ private lives.
Most people think that Big Bang and 2NE1 are the types to always want to go out and party a lot. But it’s not like that. I’d be the first person who’d know that the best. They don’t even know a lot of other people and other entertainers. With the recent events, they themselves felt the responsibility of being stars who are constantly being paid attention to. Rather than watch them, I trust them with what they do.
