On April 26th, Mnet aired the recent ‘M! Countdown Hello Japan’, the large-scale M! Countdown concert which was held at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan on April 25th. The event was co-produced by Mnet and Japan’s Space Shower TV.

The special concert was hosted by miss A’s Suzy and MBLAQ’s Lee Joon. A total of 16 teams performed in the event including Dynamic Duo, miss A, Busker Busker, SECRET, SISTAR, U-KISS, Yoon Mirae, A-Pink, MBLAQ, John Park, Supernova, Tiger JK, 4minute, FT Island, and more.

Male hip hop group MIB will be collaborating with 2 of the most iconic Hip Hop artists for their new single. It has been announced by their agency Jungle Entertainment that MIB will be teaming up with Tiger JK and Tasha for their new single.

An official from Jungle Entertainment said, "This collaboration will be between Senior and and Junior with both sides coming from the Hip Hop genre, this is something we would like to try". This collaboration will be a mix of the musical style of Tasha and Tiger JK with MIB and their agency is teasing fans that MIB's new song will be very interesting.

Rookie hip hop group M.I.B, who made their debut in October last year with full studio album "Most Incredible Busters", is gearing up for a comeback this week.

According to the group's agency, Jungle Entertainment, M.I.B's new single titled “Celebrate” will become available online and in record stores on April 5th.

The album, composed of three songs, features a superior line-up of hip hop artists including renowned experts from the same agency, Tiger JK, Yoon Mi Rae and Bizzy.

M.I.B has been very active with Mnet’s reality program ‘MIB’s W Military Academy’. The group comprised of members 5ZIC, Kangnam, SIMS and Cream will be making their first comeback performance on M! Countdown this week.

The godfather of Korean hip hop, Tiger JK has beat out K-Pop idol groups in Brazil chart!

On March 29 the popular Brazilian website “BAH” held a vote for K-Pop music and Tiger JK beat out Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, Super Junior, SHINee and Big Bang to take the number one with his 2009 hits “Monster”.

Tiger JK does not have any special promotions going on in Brazil, making this especially meaningful as it is determined by fan votes.

Tiger JK and his wife Yoon Mirae previously appeared on Brazil’s Rede TV’s “Leitura Dinamica” in November 2011 and were introduced as the Asian hip hop stars.

Hip-hop couple Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae have been picked to promote the Uijeongbu International Music Theatre Festival. As part of promotional activities, the couple will give a free concert at the city's Arts Center on May 20, the last day of the 15-day event.

Since its inauguration in 2002, the annual festival has largely featured musicals, opera and classical music. But this year pop music will take over the stage for the finale. "To make the festival more approachable to the public, we asked the couple to take on the role of promotional ambassadors, and they happily accepted the offer," the organizing committee said.

Tiger JK said he has close ties to the city. "I married and had a baby in Uijeongbu, so I can say I found love and family here." Yoon said Uijeongbu is like her hometown. "It's natural to have affection for the place where we live," she said. "I've lived here since my childhood and all my relatives also live here. I won't move away because people and the environment are great here."

Their concert in May will also feature a number of other top hip-hop musicians.

SBS sitcom "Salamander Guru and the Shadow," which is known to feature star-studded cameo appearances, will be adding up hip-hop icon Tiger JK to the growing star cameo list.

Joining singer IU, who will play as a pickpocket, Tiger JK is the next guest celebrity to make a cameo appearance on March 2 episode of the sitcom. Tiger JK will be playing a comical role of a man that hides in the basement of the Guru’s fortune telling home. He will also try to stop Minhyuk (SHINee's Minho) from running away to find his father.

It has been two years since Tiger JK has appeared on a show as a cameo. The last time was on “Through the Roof High Kick.” It is being said that he looked a bit nervous at first, but the moment the camera turned on him, Tiger JK acted superbly.

Hip hop legend Tiger JK and teen singer IU showed their father-daughter relationship through a sweet selca.

On February 26, Tiger JK updated his me2day and wrote, "Uncle fans please don't click ke Pretending to look cool, while supressing my smile.^^"

Attached the update is a photo of the stars. IU flaunts her hip hop fashion, dressed in black hoodie and white top. Tiger JK, as usual, looks cool with his pair of black eyeglasses and leopard-printed scarf.

This collaboration stage came real after many fans sent in requests to see Brian Joo and Tiger JK perform together on music programs. Despite Tiger JK’s busy schedule, he agreed to come on stage, and delivered an explosive performance.

With the main theme of “collaboration focused on seriousness towards music,” Brian Joo collaborated with K-pop's biggest solo artists Jay Park and Tiger JK, Aziatix's rapper Flowsik and Dumbfoundead.

Korean-American singer Brian Joo has unleashed another teaser for his much-awaited comeback single "Leaving You", from his anticipated EP album entitled "Reborn Part 1".
