Labelmates After School’s UEE and NU’EST’s Ren have hit the catwalk at the recent ‘Seoul Fashion Week’.
On March 26, UEE and Ren graced the runway of BIG PARK’s fashion show at F/W 2013 Seoul Fashion Week, at IFC Seoul. Both Pledis Entertainment’s artists show their elaborate fashion skills in collaboration with Korean fashion stylist Park Yoon Soo.
Despite being just a month into their debut, NU’EST members Ren and Minhyun will be walking on the runway for Seoul’s Fashion Week.
On April 7th, the two members will strut the catwalk for the first time for designer Park Youn Soo’s fashion show for his F/W 2012-2013 collection for ‘Big Park.’ The show will take place at the Olympic Park in Seoul, on April 7th.
An official from Pledis Entertainment stated, “NU’EST members Ren and Minhyun’s tall heights and visuals were deemed as worthy to stand on the runway with other models. We are honored to have our singers take part in the Seoul Fashion Week.”
NU'EST is known as the male version of After School. They are sometimes called 'After School Boys' and they stated that it is a bit burden to be known as the male version because After School is such a popular girl group. They are also close to the girls that they even got pieces of advises from them.
NU'EST members Baekho and maknae Ren mentioned girl group After School and Son Dambi in the 'Thanks To' section of their album. Ren and Baekho thanked them for the support and advice they had given to the group.

Q: The release of NU'EST debut single is on March 15, with your debut just round the corner, how do you feel?
A: (Ren)Worried and not knowing what to do, this feeling is so weird. Feeling nervous wondering if we can capture the hearts of the audience with our own stage.
Q: Let's talk about why you want to be a singer, and how you became a member of NU'EST?
A: (Ren)It was my dream to be a singer ever since I was small. I've always wanted to be in Pledis, so I went for the auditions. The company thinks that I have the charisma, hence selecting me.
Q: While dreaming to be a singer then, did you have any idols or musicians that you really like?
A: (Ren)I like Micheal Jackson when I was young. He is a perfect musician that did everything, dancing is dancing, and singing is singing. Even until now, he is the person I want to be the most, and for being the idol that inspired me.
Q: Was Ren always that good looking? How is his character like normally?
A: (JR)He was very cute when I first met him as he still had his baby fats, as he grew older, he became much more handsome day by day.
(Minhyun)Ren likes being alone. He has this four dimensional charm.
(Baek Ho)He keeps his things on his bed. He never lets anybody on his bed. He hides snacks on his bed and secretly eats them by himself at night.
Q: Self-praising may be hard to say, but when needed to say 'I am better than the members in', what would it be?
A: (Ren)I have a much more creative imagination than the others, and I tend to think about stuffs in different ways.
Q: You are dorming with the other members already right? If you have time to yourself, what would you do? A: (Ren)I will not stay in the dorm, but head out to some quiet place to think or rest.
Q: Who is the member that have the most fashion sense? A: (All)Its Ren!
(Ren)Yes, I'm much more interested in fashion, though I don't have a favourite kind of style, I like wearing things that make me happy. You could say its a 'satisfying oneself' style. I like buying accessories like rings and bracelets.
Q: Which member is the most active on variety shows?
A: (JR)Ren should be the one doing the best. He can be quiet now, but in a moment, he is able to light up the mood. And he likes to tell us interesting stories all the time, I'm sure it will work out well on variety shows.

A picture of him with blonde hair has surfaced online before debut and had male fans wondering "Is he a girl? Or a boy?" and he had heard many people saying"He looks like a girl" from people nearby. Ren said "These feedbacks were funny, and the fact that the people were curious about me".
He is also the only member in NU'EST to do nail art. When we asked him "Don't you look more feminine with the nail art?" he replied "I like stylish things, so it goes well with my appearance and that's why I started the nail art".
"I thought about being a singer in Middle School when I was in Busan. Even though my looks are very feminine I am very blunt and don't talk a lot." Ren concluded.
However, Rookie group NU'EST is currently busy promoting their debut song 'Face'.

In the recent NU’EST Interview for Pledis Boy Magazine, NU'EST member and maknae Ren was asked if who is the Korean Idol star he likes to which he answered "If it is Korean group then, 2NE1. Their Skill, Style and performance are really superb. I envy how they really enjoy the performance on stage".
Ren revealed that he likes girl group 2NE1 who is under YG Entertainment because of their skills, style and the way they perform.
In related news, new boy group NU'EST just made their debut stage with their song 'Face' and 'I'm sorry' on music program 'M! Countdown'.

5-member rookie group recently confessed that member Ren was accidentally misunderstood as a girl.
On the 5th of march ren commented, "it was when I went to the public toilet at a substation, and boys who were coming in thought they entered the wrong toilet room.
he continued and said "at that time, my hair was already Dyed like now and people who saw me inside the toilet room hurriedly went back out to double check if the sign and room they were in is correct, after that they come back again with cleared look that it is the men's toilet and that i'm a boy"
in the recent teaser, Ren capured many fangirls hearts with his pretty and beautiful face and showed his sexy and mature side.
NU'EST is said to release more upcoming teasers from each members until March 12 followed by a group teaser,
NU'EST is set to debut on March 15 on Mnet's M! Countdown.
With their official debut inching closer, the boys of NU'EST have started releasing teasers, escalating fans' anticipation. Following the teaser for member Baekho, Pledis Entertainment has just released another teaser for member Ren.
NU'EST will be releasing their debut single "Face" on March 15th. The single will be combined with the most popular trend in the British/Western genre "Dubstep" which can evoke sensations and hype towards music.
The boys is set to kick off official debut performance on Mnet's "M! Countdown" on March 15th.

After revealing the final members Teaser Photos, Netizens are caught up in a “Gender Debate” with NU’EST Member Ren’s true gender.
