Actress Lee Yeon Hee was condemned for her aloof behavior at a script reading for the new drama.

Recently, MBC’s upcoming drama ‘Book of the House of Gu’ revealed a video of its first script reading on its official homepage. Upon watching the video, netizens noticed Lee Yeon Hee’s inattentive attitude towards the cast and crew.

Lee Yeon Hee did not greet other fellow actors and actresses when they introduced themselves to others and bowed. In addition to not clapping at the other cast, she also didn’t seem to pay much attention when the PD himself offered his greeting.

However, MBC’s production team explained, “Before reading, Lee Yeon Hee was greeting other fellow actors and actresses and talked to them. We’re flustered about the news because there were no problem at the script reading.”

Actress Lee Yeon Hee has been spotted filming for the upcoming MBC drama ‘Book of the House of Gu’.

Teaser stills of Lee Yeon Hee and Choi Jin Hyuk in character were revealed online. The two filmed a scene at Jeju Island from February 5th to the 8th. Lee Yeon Hee takes on the role of Yoon Seo Ha who shares destined love with the guardian spirit Goo Wol Ryeong (Choi Jin Hyuk).

She said, “I’m nervous about the new side of me you get to see and know a fantastic love story will spread before you.”

Lee Yeon Hee’s appearance in the series is going to be a supportive and positive contribution. She will appear for only a short time, but her character will play an important role in the development of the story in the drama.

‘Book of the House of Gu’ is a historical drama about Choi Kang Chi, a half man and half beast who struggles to make a full transformation into a human. Lee Seung Gi and miss A’s Suzy will be the male and female leads in the drama.

New SBS drama revealed pictures from the script reading session.

In the picture, the cast of the drama are dressed casually and concentrating on their scripts.

Lee Yeon Hee, Song Ha Yoon and other actresses appeared with natural hairstyles and clothes but they shone even still. Kwak Byung Gyoo, Choi Daniel, G.O from MBLAQ and others did their best during practice and director Kim Hyung Sik was very satisfied.

SM celebrities including Girls' Generation, Super Junior, TVXQ, BoA, SHINee, f(x) and Kangta will become major shareholders of SM Entertainment, one of Korea’s largest entertainment companies. The agency recently announced that it would be issuing approximately $881,000 worth of new shares for its artists.

SM Entertainment announced the plan through DART Financial Supervisory Service on March 26, "To raise funds for management, the company will be carrying out a small sum recapitalization allotted to a third party. As such, 47 artists signed with the company including Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), Go Ara and Lee Yeon Hee have been included in the procedure."

SM Entertainment explained, "This capital increase represents a strengthening partnership between the company and its artists, and we hope that as shareholders, our artists will share and take part in the vision and growth of the company."

Following her drama "Paradise Ranch", actress Lee Yeon Hee will be making her comeback in the new SBS drama "Ghost".

According to Sports Seoul, Lee Yeon Hee has been cast as the female lead opposite of actor So Ji Sub. The actress will play the role of Yoo Kang Mi, an agent of an elite cyber inverstigation team.

This new project will mark Lee Yeon Hee and So Ji Sub's reunion after they acted together for the OCN drama "U-Turn" back in 2008.

The drama "Ghost", which was helmed by producer Kim Hyun Sik from TV series "Sign" and "I Am Legend", will revolve around the world of cyber crime investigators. The drama is scheduled to hit the airwaves every Wednesday and Thursday starting May.
