Actor Lee Seung Gi revealed how he feels toward challenging on history drama for the first time as well as working with young singer-actress, Suzy.

Lee Seung Gi will play the role of the outgoing and reckless character, Choi Kang Chi on upcoming MBC drama ‘Book of the House of Gu’. Regarding on his first history drama, he said, “I was worried if I would be able to do well as there’s certain limitations on history drama. But the staff prepared everything so well that I think I’m getting close to my character.”

He added, I tried to have the appearance of Choi Kang Chi. I practiced action and riding horses. I lost 3 kgs as well for this drama.

Working together with Suzy, who is younger than him, Lee Seung Gi commented, “She is filled with freshness. She is the first partner younger than me. The energy of a 20 year old Suzy will be a big help while we film.”

On March 27, the production company of the drama released new stills the two stars’ much-anticipated first meeting. Dam Yuh Wool (Suzy) is shown staring down at Choi Kang Chi (Lee Seung Gi) who is passed out on the ground.

Producer Park Tae Young commented, “Lee Seung Gi and Suzy look so good together that you can’t help but think they’re a great couple. They are attempting at an action and historical drama for the first time but they are working really hard to create the best production.”

Singer-turned-actor Lee Seung Gi surprised the fans by transforming into a fighter in his latest stills for upcoming MBC drama ‘Book of the House of Gu’.

Portraying the outgoing and reckless half-man-half-beast Choi Kang Chi, Lee Seung Gi filmed his first action scene armed with punches and high kicks. It was also revealed that the actor filmed the scenes for eight hours straight but didn′t show any sign of exhaustion.

Lee Seung Gi said, “I prepared everything from the basics because the drama will have intense action scenes. This is my first historical drama and action role so I’m looking forward to the action scenes up ahead.”

The drama will premiere through MBC beginning on April 8 KST.

Actor Lee Seung Gi revealed his new hairstyle for his upcoming MBC drama ‘Book of the House of Gu’.

On March 18, the first stills of his first historical drama were revealed, showing Lee Seung Gi as his outgoing and reckless character, Choi Kang Chi.

In the photos, Lee Seung Gi is wearing his Hanbok with his hair tied up in a high ponytail. He seems cheerful and romantic at the same time, showing a different side to him than previously shown in other dramas.

After his first day of filming, Lee Seung Gi said, “I am honored to work with writer Kang Eun Kyung and producer Sin Woo Chul. I am excited about working with the co-cast and I'm preparing a lot for this drama since I've never done a historical before.”

The drama will air in April.

Just in time for the White Day, the women of Korea have chosen which male celebrity they’d most like to receive sweets from on the romantic day.

A dental clinic carried out a survey towards 337 women in their teens and 20s about which male celebrities they would like to receive candy from on White Day. Lee Seung Gi topped the poll with 142 votes, followed by B2ST’s Kikwang (97 votes) and Kim Soo Hyun (94 votes).

A representative stated, “Lee Seung Gi topped the survey for his righteous image and beautiful smile that the women like so much. There is no woman who would reject candy from a man with a beautiful smile on White Day.”

Actor Jo Jung Su revealed his thoughts on cooperation with Lee Seung Gi.

On May 2nd, 2012, MBC drama “The King 2hearts” published an interview clip of Jo Jung Suk who is playing the role of Eun Si Kyung on the official website.

In episode 12 of MBC TV drama series “The King 2Hearts” broadcasting on April 26th, 2012, Lee Seung Ji temporarily sets aside his noble posture to ride on the pirate ship in the amusement park.

Actress Ha Ji Won revealed the stories of her famous kiss scenes in her drama.

On the recent episode of KBS “Win Win”, Ha Ji Won shared the stories of her kiss scenes with some of the hottest actors over the years. In 2010, Ha Ji Won’s ‘foamy kiss’ with Hyun Bin made headlines. The actress however has had plenty other memorable kiss scenes under her sleeve.

When she was asked which kiss scene was the most difficult she said, “The kiss scene with Jo In Sung from ‘What Happened in Bali’ was the hardest. In the scene, he was trying to kiss me by force and I was trying to avoid it. Since it was a forced kiss, we bumped into each other so hard I almost broke my teeth. It slightly tore the inside of my mouth.”

About Lee Seung Gi, whom she is co-acting with in MBC drama “The King 2Hearts”, Ha Ji Won stated, “Lee Seung Gi is bold. He was supposed to kiss Hang Ah from the side from where she was laying down, but he laid down behind me. Eventually the director pulled him out”, causing everyone on set to laugh.

Surprisingly, Ha Ji Won has a kiss scene with Kim Seung Woo, the MC for the program “Win Win”. The two starred in the movie “Reversal of Fortune”. Kim Seung Woo revealed, “Ha Ji Won was a good kisser”, and Ha Ji Won bowed down in embarrassment.
