Singer IU appeared as guest on Wanted’s concert held on April 1st at AX-Korea along with Baek Ji Young and Kim Tae Woo.
After an April Fool’s joke that IU would not be attending Wanted’s concert due to her own schedules, IU came and showed her support to the group, proving she is a truly loyal national little sister.
During the concert, IU performed “Like You” with Wanted, as well as her songs “Good Day” and “You and I”.
IU was once a trainee of Wanter member Ha Dong Gyun. She used to receive guitar lessons and vocal training under him. IU revealed, “From my trainee days, my mentors Ha Dong-gun and Wanted sunbaenim have not only guided my character development but also gave me inspirations in music.”
“Just being able to stand on this stage together with them is such an honour, it's almost like a dream. I'll keep this feeling with me forever”, IU added.

Wanted's upcoming concert. Despite her busy schedule with her Japanese activities, IU will show her support to the group, proving she is a truly loyal national little sister.
The main reason why IU will be appearing on the concert is the fact that she was once a trainee of Wanted member
Ha Dong Gyun. She used to receive guitar lessons and vocal training under Ha Dong Gyun.
IU also had the opportunity to participate in one of Wanted's song even before she debuted. IU's voice back when she was a middle school student was recorded into the track "
Can't Bear The Sight Of It". She was also featured on the single "
Like You". Both songs are from the group's 3rd official album "Vintage."
According to Wanted’s agency
WS Entertainment on March 8, IU will be appearing on Wanted's upcoming concert “Back To Vintage”, which will take place on April 1.

After 5-year hiatus, Wanted finally released its third full-length album, "Vintage", along the music video for title track, "Going to You".
"Going to You", which features Lee Jung Hyuk and Kim Boreum, expresses the pain of losing someone you love and gaining new confidence and hope through a new love.
Meanwhile, "Vintage" album also include the song "Can't Bear the Sight of it"
which features the voice of IU during her trainee days.

IU's voice back when she was a middle school student was recorded into Wanted's new album.
According to LOEN, who helped with the production of Wanted's 3rd album, "Among the songs in Wanted's 3rd album this time, IU participated in the chorus for the song entitled, 'Can't Bear the Sight of it'. The recording was done before she debuted and IU's young voice was added into the song exactly the way it was."
Back when IU was still a trainee, she used to receive guitar lessons and vocal training under Wanted's Ha Dong Kyun, thus she had the opportunity to participate in the chorus for this song even before she debuted. However, the members had to put their activities on hold when they joined the army and could only release the song now, 5 years later.
Wanted will be releasing their 3rd album, 'VINTAGE' on Jan 20th and their pre-released single, 'Like You', featuring IU, shot to first place on music charts, raising expectations for their official album release.

Vocal group 'Wanted' will be making their comeback with their 3rd album 'VINTAGE' on Jan 20th. Their single 'Like You' featuring IU was released in advance on Jan 9th.
'Like You' was composed by Wanted members and has a soft and comfortable acoustic feel. The release of the song has met with rising anticipation with the recent trend in the music industry, IU, featured in it. The song uses simple instruments such as the acoustic guitar, bell and bongo to create a romantic atmosphere, complete with the lovely harmony of Wanted members' mellow and comfortable voice with IU's clear and pure voice.
