For Psy’s ‘2012 Summer Stand’ concert, he set the dress code as blue in last summer. It was to let audiences feel free and cool as they were sprayed by water during the duration of the concert.
On April 13th, Psy willbe having his own concert ‘HAPPENING’ at World Cup stadium in Sang-am dong, Seoul. This photo was made to announce that audiences coming to the concert must wear in white.
Psy’s mega hit track “Gangnam Style” is still enjoying great popularity on the UK Chart.
According to the latest rankings of The Official UK Chart, Psy’s “Gangnam Style” has landed at 39th place for this week in Top 40 singles chart, marking the single’s 31st straight week on the list.
Psy topped the chart on September 30 with “Gangnam Style” and became the first Korean singer that reached No.1. He also became the 129th million-seller in the UK, and joined the ranks of such legendary names as Elton John, Queen, The Beatles and ABBA.
He has since enjoyed steady popularity without any particular promotional activities in Britain. Psy is currently preparing to release his new single at his solo concert ‘Happening’ on April 13.
YG Entertainment makes sure that Psy will maintain his reputation when it comes to awesome concert scenes. Thus, there are no hesitations from the camp of YG Entertainment to spend 2.7 million USD (3 billion KRW) for Psy’s upcoming concert, ‘HAPPENING’.
‘HAPPENING’ will happen on April 13. As estimated, about 50,000 fans will attend the event. For those who can’t go, PSY will be live-streaming his concert through YouTube!
While Psy’s global stardom started from Gangnam district, fans are wondering where will he shoot the music video for his next track.
Psy is currently staying in Korea for his new album and concert preparations and according to YG Entertainment, he decided to shoot his new music video in his home country again.
A representative revealed, “He has been thinking about where to shoot his new music video. If we shoot it overseas we had to go abroad before the concert. But we decided to film it all in Korea. The staff will be only Koreans, too.”
Just as Gangnam district of Seoul grew world-famous after “Gangnam Style” was released, many people are getting curious about whether another district will be able to become famous because of Psy’s new music video.
Known for his hilarious parodies, Psy will be cross-dressing once again on his upcoming concert!
On April 13th, Psy will be having his solo concert ‘HAPPENING’ at Seoul World Cup Stadium, and is expected to meet up with 50,000 fans. The entire concert will be streamed live via Youtube for his international audience.
Psy’s cross-dressing performances have always been something to look forward to during his concerts. He previously showed parodies of female singers imitating Lee Hyori, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Girls’ Generation and SISTAR. Fans are growing curious about parody of which singer he will show this time.
An official from his management agency said, “Psy is considering a great number of Korean and foreign female pop stars. Wait to see what he will come up with.”
Who do you think will Psy cross-dress as at upcoming April concert?
The singer who rose to global stardom with “Gangnam Style,” will hold his solo concert ‘HAPPENING’ at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on April 13th. Psy is drawing further attention as he has spent 3 billion KRW (approximately 2.7 million USD) for the show, marking his largest concert ever in Korea.

The title of Psy’s follow-up song to his hit “Gangnam Style,” which is set for release next month, will be changed due to concerns it could sound offensive to Arabs.
Recently, Psy revealed that he was considering between two songs for his next title song, and that “Assaravia” (can be written as “Assarabia”) was one of them. It’s slang used by South Koreans to express excitement but worries have risen that Arabs might misinterpret the title and find it derogatory.
Psy stated that even if “Assaravia” was his next song, he will change the title and some lyrics will be changed as well. He also explained via twitter, “It’s Korean slang & spell is #assaraVia & Not gonna be a single anyway.”
On March 18th, Psy posted on his personal me2day, “As I told yesterday, I will be giving a bit of change to ‘Assarabia’. The song is one of the two title track candidates. As it seemed unclear through articles, yhe title and lyrics will be changed. And the other follow up song can be the single.”
“Assarabia” is a Korean slang word for ‘awesome’ and was previously reported to be the new single. However, the song is only a candidate yet and Psy will be releasing more hints as soon as things get decided.
Recently, Psy revealed, “I’m thinking in between two songs. One gives an impression similar to ‘Gangnam Style’ and the other gives a completely different impression.”
Meanwhile, Psy will unveils his new single during his concert titled “Happening” at Seoul World Cup Stadium on April 13.
