After his minor accident, Jang Geun Suk tweeted on March 22 to thank and apologize, "I′m sorry for causing such accident. I want to thank the police, the maritime police and the driver of the towing truck. I apologized to those in the bus who would have been shocked because of me. Singer-actor Jang Geun Suk was involved in a car accident.

The Incheon Police Department revealed that Jang Geun Suk was driving his sports car through Incheon Airport Highway on March 21. He was on his way to Incheon Airport when his car suddenly experienced a flat tire, ended up colliding with a bus that was moving ahead of it.

The hood of Jang Geun Suk’s porsche car and part of the bus were damaged, but fortunately, Jang Geun Suk and the passengers on the bus didn’t suffer any major injuries.

After the accident, Jang Geun Suk went straight to the airport and left for Thailand where he is set to hold promotional activities as Team H.

In promotions of Team H’s latest Japanese album, Jang Geun Suk has transformed into monkey and spread some love with free hugs event.

On March 6, the singer-actor uploaded a video on his personal Youtube channel showing Jang Geun Suk himself, wearing a baboon mask while holding a sign that read, “Free hugs by Team H.”

Team H released their latest 12-track album ‘I Just Wanna Have Fun’ simultaneously in China and Japan on February 27th. The album included the title track “Feel The Beat”.

Hallyu artists BoA, Jang Geun Suk and Big Bang’s Daesung have scored big on Japanese Oricon chart.

According to the Oricon website on February 28th, Jang Geun Suk and Big Brother’s Team H landed at number two with its first studio album ‘I Just Wanna Have Fun’ on the Oricon Daily Chart. The album, which was released in China as well, is filled with upbeat and electronic tracks.

Big Bang’s Daesung released his first solo album ‘D’scover’ on February 27th, and debuted fourth on the Oricon Daily Chart on the same day. To celebrate his solo ventures in Japan, he will hold his concert tour starting in March through June.

On the other hand, BoA stood at number nine on the same chart with her latest Japanese single “Only One”. The single is the Japanese version of the song that she released in Korea last year.

After releasing the Chinese version, Jang Geun Suk’s unit group Team H has now unveiled the full music video for the Japanese version of “Feel The Beat”!

“Feel The Beat” is included in Team H’s latest 12-track album ‘I Just Wanna Have Fun’ which was released simultaneously in China and Japan on February 27th. The album also includes “What is Your Name”, “Party Tonight”, “Rock and Roll Tonight”, “Liquor Shot”, “Welcome to My World” and “Beautiful Change”.

The Japanese version of “Feel The Beat” features the same music video filled with craziness as Jang Geun Suk and producer/artist Big Brother threw a huge party.

Hallyu celebrity Jang Geun Suk is due to start his first Asian tour as a member of project group Team-H.

Team-H will start their first Asian tour, which is named ‘2013 Team-H Party - I Just Wanna Have Fun’ starting with a concert in Hiroshima Sun Plaza Hall in Japan on February 23 and 24, followed by dates in Kobe, Sapporo, and Shanghai, and other cities in Thailand and Taiwan.

Team-H is a project group formed by Jang Geun Suk and his musical partner Big Brother. They released their first EP album in the China region and topped the reservation album sales chart with their first mini album released in Japan in 2012.

The duo earned global recognition for their music in international music festivals including “UMF Korea 2012” and “Summer Sonic 2012.”

They will announce a new album, “I Just Wanna Have Fun”, on February 27. Tree-J said, “Jang Geun Suk and Big Brother will sing the songs they have performed in previous concerts, including songs recognized at the international festivals and new songs on the new album.”

Jang said about his upcoming tour, “It is especially meaningful as it is Team-H’s first tour. I am excited and somewhat nervous.”

The “2012 Jang Geun Suk Tour: The Cri Show 2”, which included 16 concerts in nine Asian cities during the last year, attracted a total audience of 163,000 people.

After teasing fans earlier this week, hallyu star Jang Geun Suk and Big Brother of the duo unit Team H have finally unveiled the full music video for the track “Feel the Beat”!

The music video for the track was revealed by Jang Geun Suk himself through his personal Weibo account. The song is a mix of Korean and Chinese and will be included in Team H’s upcoming album ‘I Just Wanna Have Fun’.

The album will be released online on February 20th, while the offline release will be on the 27th. In the meantime, check out the MV below.

Being the new model and spokesperson for Caffee Bene, Hallyu star Jang Geun Suk treated out ‘Love Rain’ staffs with coffee.

On a warm-weathered day on May 2, Jang Geun Suk was shooting his new KBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama series ‘Love Rain’. He tweeted,“ Please recommend a summer drink from Caffe Bene.” Soon an official from a Caffe Bene staff gave him a recommendation.

The actor then tweeted, “Mind sending some drinks to the set for the staff members who are working in hot weather?” With Jang Geun Suk’s request, Caffe Bene sent out 100 cups of coffee to the set.

Jang Geun Suk tweeted a proof shot of himself sipping a cup of coffee along with the message, “Tada! Caffe Bene showed their dignity!”

An official of Caffe Bene stated, “Though it happened all of a sudden, we hope it will a small gift for Jang Geun Suk and staff who are working hard through the heat.”

Girls’ Generation’s YoonA started something pitiful to turn around the heart of Jang Geun Suk.

On the twelfth episode of the KBS 2TV drama ‘Love Rain’ showed Ha Na (YoonA) suggesting a beach shoot to Joon (Jang Geun Suk).

Joon said no, but Ha Na decided she will pose for Joon to find out his truth. However, Ha Na held back tears as she modeled for the cold-turned Joon.

She kept on talking to him to get his attention but he didn’t reply back and although she tried catching his eye with a fluttery yellow dress, Joon didn’t move an inch.

Exhausted, Ha Na had difficulty posing for the camera and in the end got scolded by Joon.

After the shoot, Ha Na asked Joon to stay with her but he made the car leave.

The KBS’s “Love Rain” released the photos of Jang Geun Suk and Girls’ Generation member Im YoonA enjoying their dating at the busy street of Hongdae area.

The couple is staging the romantic ‘Hongdae date’. During the filming, they had been surrounded by onlookers who would like to see the progress of this romantic date.

In the episode 11 of “Love Rain” aired on April 30th, 2012, this couple who is like a feast on the eyes is just like any other couple, strolling and shopping on the street around Hongik University hand in hand. They stage ‘sweet couple’ which is enviable, conveying the warm atmosphere.

Back in March, Jang Geun Suk has announced to release his first full-length Japanese album this May. Earlier this week, the Hallyu star released the music video teaser for his upcoming title track “Crazy Crazy Crazy”.

Jang Geun Suk will release his studio album titled “Just Crazy” on May 23. His album, to be released in three different edition, will be composed of 11 tracks including title track “Crazy Crazy Crazy”, “Let Me Cry”, “Bye Bye Bye” and “Rain.”

On April 29th, Hallyu star Jang Geun Suk was involved in a car accident together with his manager on their way to Seoul after filming “Love Rain” at Mangsang Beach in Kangwon-do.

Around Yeoju in Gyeonggi province, Jang Geun Suk’s car ran into the guardrail and was partially destroyed due to his manager dozing off at the wheel. Fortunately, the actor and his manager were not seriously injured.

Despite sustaineing bruises and body aches, Jang Geun Suk continued on to the next filming set for that morning. However, the actor will not appear on the April 30 filming for “Love Rain”.

According to a representative on April 30th, “Jang Geun Suk will not film today on April 30. After discussing with the production team, Jang Geun Suk will take a break in order to heal and pushed back filming.”

Hallyu force of nature Jang Geun Suk has again proved his popularity by taking home the Best Male Star award at the 48th annual Paeksang Arts Awards on April 26.

Jang took the award which is presented to male actors in the film category for his role in last year’s hit movie “You Are My Pet.”

Jang secured 49.4 percent of the votes in a popularity survey, taking the No. 1 spot. He overtook Hallyu actors Gong Yoo and Shin Ha-kyun to claim the prize.

This isn’t the first time that the 24-year-old entertainer has been awarded a prestigious Paeksang award.
In 2010 he was awarded for his role in the movie “Itaewon Murder” (2009) and back in 2008 he took the prize for the Best New Male Talent for his role in the movie “Happy Life” (2007).

Yoona revealed her group members’ reactions after seeing her kiss scene with Jang Geun Suk in ‘Love Rain’.

On April 27th, during a recording of the Monday-Tuesday KBS 2TV drama ‘Love Rain’, which was held in Sangsu-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, an on-location interview was conducted with the ‘Love Rain’ cast. Yoona was asked, “What is the reaction of the Girls’ Generation members after seeing you in the drama ‘Love Rain’?”

Yoona replied, “Not long ago there was a kiss scene with Jang Geun Suk, and after seeing that, the members were all shocked saying that the kiss was too deep”. She carried on, “I was also shocked after seeing it too. It didn’t seem so bad at the time when we were filming it, but actually seeing it on screen was quite different. It was quite deep.”

She also added, “At the time of filming the kiss scene, because Jang Geun Suk’s character was a playboy, it was his responsibility to ‘lead’ the kiss. This scene would have been harder and more embarrassing for Jang Geun Suk than me. All I had to do was stand still and get kissed.”

Yoona also talked about the kiss scene between Yuri and Lee Jae Hoon on SBS’s drama ‘Fashion King’ and how it caused a fun argument at the dorm. “Yuri and I would argue whose kiss scene was ‘deeper’. But in the end, the other members would just close the argument with “both of your kiss scenes were extreme”.”

Meanwhile, in the drama ‘Love Rain’, Yoona plays the character of a modern day girl of 2012 called Jung Hana, as well as a character based in the 70s called Kim Yoon Hee.

KBS2 TV drama “Love Rain” continues with its snail pace.

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research on April 25th, “Love Rain” aired on the 24th, rated 5.6%. This is 0.4% higher than the previous episode.

However this drama is on a standstill mode and has the lowest viewing percentage compared to other dramas. SBS “Fashion King” and MBC “Lights and Shadows” rated 9.4% and 23.6%.

“Love Rain” is significantly far from “Lights and Shadows" and the gap with “Fashion King” is also widening. Unlike viewers’ expectations, it was rated as cliché since the very start and even though the scene of the drama has changed in generations, it still doesn’t attract any attention.

While Jang Geun Suk (Seo Joon) and YoonA’s (Jeong Ha Na) love mode has become official, many wonder if the viewing rate will turn direction and go up again.

“Love Rain” fell again.

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research on April 23rd, KBS 2TV drama “Love Rain” rated 5.2%. This is 1.2% lower than the previous days episode.

“Love Rain” started the romance between the 2012 Jang Geun Seok and YoonA since last week and the percentage seemed to be going up but fell to 5% once again.

Jang Geun Seok and YoonA started living together somehow and kissed 3 times to add rapidness to the romance but still the viewing percentage fell.

Meanwhile, SBS “Fashion King” rated 9.8% and MBC “Lights and Shadows” rated 21.7%.

YoonA’s beauty exploded while modeling for Jang Geun Suk.

On the 18th episode of the KBS 2TV drama “Love Rain” aired on April 17th, Jung Hana (played by YoonA) became Seo Joon’s (Jang Geun Suk) advertisement model as she promised.

Jeong Hana tried working on an ad for the first time in her life. The stylist breathed out a sigh as she said, “You really can't live up the style.” Seo Joon stopped the whole process after a while.

He handed her a magazine and told her to pick anything she wanted to wear. When she picked out something he told the stylist, “Get something exactly like this and we will commence again tomorrow afternoon.”

Wearing what she picked out from the magazine, Hana was much more natural and beautiful. Jo Soo (Oh Seung Yoon) admired her as he said, “You are so beautiful.” As all the staff members paid compliments to Jung Hana, she started to get nervous. Seo Joon let everyone out and the two were left alone to work.

When Seo Joon asked Hana why she picked out that dress, she smiled as she answered and he took a picture of her. Everyone was amazed at the picture he took after the photo shoot and even Hana herself couldn’t believe and asked, “Is this really me?”

Seo Joon hallucinated about Hana after the photo shoot. At the end of the episode, Seo Joon confessed to Jung Hana, “I like you.”

The preview appearance of the 2012 version “Love Rain” increased viewing percentages a little bit.

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, the fourth episode of the KBS 2TV drama “Love Rain” rated 5.3%. This is 0.9% higher than the third episode of 4.4%.

On this day, Kim Yoon Hee (YoonA) left for America to treat her tuberculosis and Seo In Ha (Jang Geun Suk) joined National Service. Then time flew by to the year 2012 to where Jang Geun Suk and YoonA bumped into each other on the subway as the daughter and son's of Seo In Ha and Kim Yoon Hee, Seo Joon and Jeong Ha Na.

Meanwhile, MBC “Lights and Shadows” rated 23.8% making it the lead out of all dramas at the same time and SBS “Fashion King” rated 10.4%.
