Singer Lee Hi thanked fans for her first ‘Inkigayo’ win with her latest title song “It’s Over“.
On March 25, Lee Hi posted on her official blog yg-hiheel, “Thanks to my fans, I won #1 at Inkigayo! Thank you very very much~ Looking forward to your continued support ^^”, and attached an adorable photo of herself with a personal handwritten message for the fans.
Lee Hi won against tough contenders SHINee and Davichi. The rookie singer became the second artist to win on ‘Inkigayo’ after the music program revived its music rankings. Currently, she is preparing to release the second part of her first album ‘First Love’.

ZE:A member Kwanghee congratulated the boys of SHINee on their first win on SBS ‘Inkigayo’.
On March 18th, the music show MC posted on his Twitter, “Congrats SHINee on #1 in Inkigayo !!! Kekeke handsome as usual!!!”, and attached a photo of them celebrating the win backstage.
SHINee became the first artist to win on SBS ‘Inkigayo’ since the music show revived its ranking system on March 17.
SHINee didn't forget to express their gratittude for their recent win on Inkigayp today march 17. Through their me2day account, they wrote,
"Again, ‘Dream Girl’ got 1st place~^^ Everyone~ We sincerely thank you for letting us have this valuable 1st place~". Along with a group photo showing the members' happy expressions while giving 'NO.1'sign. Jonghyun is holding their trophy.
After cancelling the ranking system last July, SBS ‘Inkigayo’ decided to bring back the ranking segment for the music program, with a weekly winner to be announced once again.
The show will again provide a weekly ranking of 50 popular songs based on feedback from fans. With the 50 listed choices, fans will be able to cast their vote once a week through SBS’s official mobile application, SOTY.
The ranking results will be aired on the weekly music program every Sunday starting on March 17.

Singer Gummy will be making her long-awaited comeback to the music scene.
YG Entertainment announced that Gummy will perform her latest single “Snow Flower” for the first time on SBS’ ‘Inkigayo’ on March 3rd.
“Snow Flower”, which was released at noon on February 27, is the third part of the OST for ‘Wind Blows in Winter’. The song was produced by Choi Kap Won and Kim Sae Jin PJ.

Group EXO-K overwhelmed the stage by black charisma.
At April 22nd's SBS 'Inkigayo''s broadcast, EXO-K sang their title song 'MAMA'
Today, EXO-K turned shiny black that gave off a tough man image. Especially EXO-K's handsome appearance and superior powerful choreography that made the fans excited.
EXO-K's song 'MAMA' is the work of Yoo youngJin and Gregory Chant. The majestic orchestra sounds and sharp synth and guitar riffs at the dance break. It became more intense because of the shouting that delivered a powerful feeling.
Excerpts from Inkigayo PD Park Gyungduk's interview with 10Asia:
"I want to make performances and stages for the popular artists that have many overseas fans. Because teams like Big Bang get views up to 2 million and 3 million."
"The usage of water is very unique. We used water falling from the ceiling to spell out the world "BLUE" and even expressed the water with LED to show many images with the water that was collected on the floor.
I looked into many sets that have used water, but it was difficult to put this image into place. If we made it like the bottom of a pool, the colors would not be vivid, and if wouldn't work if it was just black. We then found a 21st century Japanese museum's pool. The pool was made so that people can go under the water , and from the top, one could see people swimming below them. The water falling from the ceiling was the idea of one of our producers who previously worked for SBS . On this stage, G-Dragon could point to the sky and words would fall immediately. I was really amazed and pleased."
Q: The small circular stage in which Big Bang performed "Bad Boy" was also very impressive and "innovative."
Park Gyungduk: "I personally really like that stage. The stage seemed very interactive for Big Bang to ride the rhythm and dance with the fans, so we felt that it matched well. Truthfully, while on set Big Bang said "How could you put us in this crowded space." (laughs). During the dry rehearsal the members kept having difficulties, but in the end it was a performance filled with strength. The members freely ad-libbed, and we were able to capture many facial expressions and cuts. This was possible because they are very professional and are capable of giving us different feelings each week."
In celebration of the April Fools’ Day, singer IU has also joined the fun with her confession.
On the April 1st broadcast of SBS ‘Inkigayo’, IU, who was dressed up as Cleopatra, confessed, “I actually have a surprise announcement to make today. I wanted my Inkigayo family to be the first to know if I ever got a lover.”
The two other MCs Nicole and Goo Hara started assuming that it was Big Bang’s Taeyang but IU just smiled peculiarly and said, “I’ll send him a video message. Honey...”
She immediately followed, “Just kidding! No one was lying today so..”, to the relief of her uncle fans. However, she confused viewers by adding, “But do you really think this was a prank?”

Singer Brian shows off his true professionalism while performing on stage. On the 4th of March, Brian performed in SBS Inkigayo with his new song "To let this die". During his performance, while singing a high note, his voice cracked causing a minor setback in his performance.
However, despite the mistake, he did not panic and maintained his composure on stage showing his professionalism. Netizens are amazed at how he managed to act calm right after his voice cracked.
