EXO-M's leader Kris spotted acting cute while at the airport.
Kris luggage was misplaced when he was at the airport waiting for his flight back to Korea. While waiting for his luggage, Kris was surrounded by his fans and showed a cute expression which made fans speechless.
Kris seemed to be helpless and disappointed but could do nothing was seen folding his arms and showing a cute pout. Kris is known as a serious person and his cute act made fans surprised as he doesn't do that often.

EXO to hold a showcase in Korea.
The official websites of EXO-K and EXO-M have been updated and the groups are confirmed to have a showcase in Korea. The event is expected to be held on 31th of March.
Meanwhile, fans are getting excited for EXO's comeback though the group hasn't revealed any details about their comeback yet as Korean fans have spread pictures of EXO members getting in and out of studio.

EXO appeared on drama "You're The Best, Lee Soon Shin"
On the first broadcast of "You're The Best, Lee Soo Shin" on March 9th, a seen when Lee Soon Shin and Shin Joon Ho met for the first time.
During a scene of Shin Yo Jun where he was in a music broadcast recording scene, a few members of EXO were spotted in the background. The members who were on the drama identified to be Luhan, Suho and Sehun. The 3 members came to the filming scene to support SHINee, a sunbae from the same company who was recording for their comeback stage.
After knowing that EXO appeared on the drama, fans tried to watch the scene where EXO appeared but unfortunately, the members were showed for 3-4 seconds only.

December 2012 was EXO’s last performance and almost a year since they debut with title track "MAMA’. Definitely their fans are anticipating their comeback.

SJ's Ryeowook dreams to create 'Ryeo-Line'

In a recent photoshoot for star1 magazine, Super Junior's Ryeowook revealed that his dream for 2013 is to create a 'Ryeo-Line'. A group which he can lead on. In addition to that, he also named few 'potential' members that he wanted to recruit. They are ZE:A's Hyungsik, Infinite's Sung gyu, EXO members and even SHINee's Onew. The criteria of his members must be nice and can sing well.
In addition to that, he also stated that he wanted his 'Ryeo-Line' to compete with fellow member Kyuhyun's 'Kyu-Line' that has TVXQ's Changmin, SHINee's Minho, CNBLUE's Jonghyun and Siwon.
Ryeowook explained that his desire to create 'Ryeo-Line'is that he wanted to be called 'hyung', since SJ members treat him as the youngest (Kyuhyun actually is the youngest) and he doesn't have any siblings. He expressed that whenever someone calls him 'hyung', he feels delighted.

EXO catches SHINee’s attention!

SHINee revealed that the rookie group that caught their attention was EXO.
SHINee held a comeback show on February 20thfor their 3rd full album which was held at Seoul Bangi-dong Olympic Park Handball Arena. On the same event, a short interview was held as well. One of the reporters asked the group which of their hoobaes (juniors) caught their attention to which the members replied “EXO. They are awesome!” simultaneously, revealing their affection for their labelmate, EXO.
Choi Minho also revealed that when they were promoting Sherlock last year, they were shocked by the number of hoobaes they had, though they knew the group name, they did not know who was who among the members.
Meanwhile, SHINee is back with ‘Dream Girl’ and will continue promoting on various music shows.

There is no gap even though you look out for one. Starting with the "Sharp eyebrows and wide-eyed double eyelids" leader Suho, Kai who has "A different kind of manliness compared to others" (Sehun), and maknae Sehun who makes you think of a 'Marine Boy', EXO-K are full of members who are in charge of visuals. Their visuals make their concept of coming from EXOPLANET unrealistic and they have been releasing teaser videos 100 days before their debut which also showed their confidence in the teasers which have been released. There is a saying that a bear would become a person by eating plants and onions during 100 days, but these six boys appeared in front of everyone after getting their powers.
The title song 'MAMA' is completed by putting together the six powers of earth, fire, wind, water, lights and teleporting and making it from 'There is no living, emotions, warmth, but trash talking being tossed around'. 'MAMA' is a song that starts with majestic orchestra sounds and the members serious faces in the intro, from the start to the end with an unambiguous concept unlike the other love confession songs or songs that make you think of 'beast idols'. To this issue there were reactions such as "There was big egoism towards the concept"(Baekhyun) or "It was good because it was unique"(Chanyeol), are they speaking the truth? When Kai took out the words "I think that I had the power to do teleporting. My name is Chanyeol. Birth name is Park Chanyeol.
I was born on November 27th 1992. I have an older sister who's three years apart from me.
My older sister, when she say my pre-debut pictures she said "Hey, your pre-debut photos are all on the internet! I didn't even know". Even though she doesn't really talk about stars, she still seems to be really proud of me.
I'm exactly 185cm tall. I haven't been growing for about two years now. And comparing to other people, my ears are more protruding than the rest, my eyes are also very big, not to mention my irregular size of teeth. Haha
So the fans gave me a nickname called 'Wealthy Teeth'. During the fansign not long ago, there were a lot of fans who showed a lot of interest in me, so it felt good.
EXO-K and EXO-M combined makes 12 members, all of them that came out in the teaser. Because many teasers have passed by before I came out, my mother would call me and say "When are you coming out? I'm waiting to see you and hear your sound". My friends would also say "Why aren't you coming out? Did they kick you off the team?" Actually, I was a little nervous.. haha!
From the 1st year of Highschool (9th grade) I became a trainee in SM Entertainment. Honestly, everyone knew about this (that he became a trainee), I was still a little shy.
When I'm in middle school, I became really good friends with a group of people in a band called "Heavy Noise". The band is something similiar to Nirvana, X Japan, and I really liked it. And when I'm in Highschool I was in a band called "Siren".
When we were practicing the choreography for <<MAMA>> I really thought I was the weakest link. Haha. At first we thought "We're so dead" but because of the extra help one-on-one from Kai and Sehun, we really improved a lot, so its a relief.
I have the power to control fire, a phoenix is.... theres no joy. (Kai: This charm is a little weak...) For the next album, maybe there could be use for fire.
My name is Baekhyun. Real name is Byun Baekhyun.
I was born on May 6th 1992. I have a brother who's seven years older than me. Although the age difference is really big but it isn't hard to connect with him. Ever since we were children, we did everything together including shopping.
In EXO-K my eyelines are the best. It's different because the rest of the member has round eyes while mine is sharp, the rest of the members has big eyes as well, and mine is small. Hahaha. If I wear eye liner it makes my eyes look good but, if I take it off people will see me as a completely different person.
Eyeliner has to be drawn in a line. First you'd have to moisten the place you're going to apply the eyeliner and then use the cotton to swab. At first it was hard, but the more we do it the more proficient i get. Now I know why it's important for the girls to do it. Haha.
Because I joined the team later than the rest, the first person I met and befriended was Chanyeol. When I have to go to practice, I would ride the subway or sometimes I would walk, and sometimes Chanyeol would go with me.
When I was in highschool I was the mood maker. I've seen SHINee seniors dance before many times. When I see them I wanted to practice as hard and be as good as them. (KAI: Ever since Trainee days he was really well rounded at everything, he was really popular. If he wasn't going to be an idol what will he be? / Suho: I think he'll be in the lines of performing arts.)
We all have our own individual power, but I'm still the most jealous of Kai's teleportation skill. (Kai: I'm also jealous of my own power too) If we have the teleportation skill, I must see the insides of the bank.
Just like the KBS series <Full House> starring Rain Senior, I want to be able to do something like that too. Though I still have a lot to learn at this point, I would like to try it out. Though i'm not sure if it would fit my style.
For variety programs, I've already prepared many impersonation talents. I could do Oh Gwangrok Senior, but So Soksa Senior I'm still in the progress of learning. But you never know in the future. Haha

LEADER KRIS: As a leader, Kris has always been considered as the most caring brother. He's always determined when it comes to a united greeting, revealing informations, and taking care of the rest of his members when they're in pain or is injured, and not to mention when they're speechless, he'll help them out. And the way he's able to manifest charisma and charm on stage when it comes to rapping, this is the reason why he's our leader.
WELL GROOMED MAIN VOCAL D.O: One of the most perturbed thing in their debuted life would have to be the hygienic level of their dorm. Sehun have said "The neatest member in the group would have to be D.O, if you've gone into his room and open his closet or drawers, I assue you that all his clothes will be well arranged to a certain extent where he would color code his closet. But I'm not saying the rest are dirty!"
AEGYO BOY KAI: The presumably "dancing machine" Kai who has extreme powerful dance moves on stage and who flashes charisma has a completely different side of him when off stage. With his extremely cheerful and bright smile, which almost makes his eyes disappear, he would also occasionally do cute aegyos. When he's confused, he would have "clueless" plastered over his face making him so innocent, and when he's day dreaming his fingers would always find its way to his lips, and not to mention the extremely high level of aegyo he has.
COZY MAKNAE SEHUN: The soundless youngest member of the group who would always be at the side, heads hanging low, and smiled ever so widely when he heard Luhan saying that he's "the one everyone wants to care for the most", but underneath everything is the cozy boy. With him throwing out pieces of paper with "I LOVE YOU ALL" written on it proves how much he wants to show his gratitude to the fans.
WELL ROUNDED LAY: If you've assumed that his only strength is in dancing, you've been mistaken. He's also talented instrument-wise, being able to play both the guitar and the piano. When EXO-M had been promoting in China, Lay had shown everyone a completely different side of him. But he's always the same Lay, the person who love eating snacks and not to mention he wears everyone's socks at random.
FLOWER BOY LUHAN: Almost alike wit Kai, whenever Luhan was introduced he had always given off the vibe of a flower boy with perfect features. He has a perfect vocal as well as dance steps, being the center of attention. When he was located and scouted, he has already been studying in Korea which would explain his extremely fluent Korean ability, and his role as a personal translator for the two remaining Korean member in EXO-M.
ADORABLE BIG BROTHER XIUMIN: Despite having young looks, Xiumin is actually the eldest of all EXO. The rest of EXO had revealed his secrets about his cute habit of shaking his head very often. He often cheer the members up with his cute and funny acts, and thus his nickname "steamed buns". There's a screaming part during the song <<MAMA>> and no one would have thought it was Big Brother Xiumin who does it. He persistently keeps saying "I will master the Chinese language", proving his big success in China.
HIGH ADLIBS CHEN: Being the main vocal of EXO-M, his voice is something everyone envys. He's vocal abilities never fails to wow the people, especially his ability to hold long notes. Having Chinese as a foreign language for him, many of the times, he would just sit quietly and listen to what people have to say and learn from them. There is one thing in Chen that would last forever, and that would be his authentic and appealing smile, we are going to look out for more of Chen's vocals in the Chinese market.
PRACTICAL TAO: People have been saying that people who practice martial arts should be ferocious and agressive but we see no sign of any of that in Tao. We're not saying that he isn't mature or persistant enough, its just that being the youngest as a 93 line who has so many older brother to protect him, it still could be too early for him to mature. He is one of those people who speak what's on their mind, like when the first time Tao was asked who his ideal type was, he never really answered and he avoided the question. When he was asked the second time, he had told the interviewer that he knew he would be questioned regarding this again so he had went home and went into deep thoughts about who his ideal type was.
BASHFUL LEADER SUHO: Having to lead EXO-K, people had a picture him being serious and leader-like, but in reality, it was the complete opposite. Suho with his bashful smile and his anxious speeches never fail to make the fans smile. During his trainee days, he had already gained a lot of recognition from the seniors for his many talents.
HAPPY VIRUS CHANYEOL: Because of his superlative looks, Chanyeol has gained many if not a lot feedbacks regarding the gap between his voice and his actual facial features, and not to mention the smile he flashes oh so very often, leaving a lot of people dumbfounded. Always flashing his teeths when smiling, his abstract hairstyle, large bulging eyes, it differentiates himself from others, he's always the cheerful boy. His looks may be able to change a complete 180 degrees from when he's on stage and off stage.
AMENDABLE BOY BAEKHYUN: Even before debut, Baekhyun has been the type of boy who screams out amendable, but that wasn't always the case. He's been the exposing secrets of different members, especially one where he had told everyone that they take showers together with other members which led to an endless bawling and yelling from fans, and he had also mentioned that he likes practicing different expressions in front of the mirror just in case he lands any commercial deals. There had also been rumors about him during pre-debuting days being the joker of the group.

Rookie group EXO-K continue to sweep the upper tier of various weekly music charts in China with their title song “MAMA”!
EXO-M’s first title song “MAMA”, which was released on April 8th in China, took the 1st place on the weekly chart (Chinese music section) of ‘Yin Yue Feng Yun Bang’, a famous music chart program which airs on BeijingTV and nine other channels.
In addition, the music video of “MAMA” topped the daily chart (4/30) and weekly chart for 4 consecutive weeks (4/2~4/29) of ‘YinYueTai’ in the Chinese music video section.
The music video of “HISTORY” has entered TOP5 of weekly chart as well for 8 weeks in a row (3/5~4/29), proving their high popularity in China.

All the boy groups produced by SM Entertainment, not one has failed. More than a hundred trainees have been training under SM Entertainment, hoping to be polished and grind into a star. And within one year, all of the hot rookies could become SM Entertainment's new rising star.
SM Entertainment's new boy group EXO-K (consisting of Suho, D.O, Kai, Chanyeol, Sehun, and Baekhyun) has debuted with their first mini album <MAMA>. As rising stars, they've topped the charts on different sites already, beating out their seniors. With their other half (EXO-M) aimed for the Chinese market, it has also caught a lot of attention from the media. In total, EXO consist of 12 members, but is separated into two groups EXO-K, whom are responsible for the Korean music industries and market, while EXO-M aims to pursue in the Chinese music industry. The twin group, whom both debuted on the same date, same time, with the same songs, just with the lyrical language difference are now promoting in two countries. The name EXO derived from a planet called EXOPLANET which is a planet in the outer space, basically meaning that they're the mysterious new born rising legends from another planet.
● Debuted just three weeks ago, already gaining fame?
Suho: During our first week of performance, we weren't able to find the cameras at all. We were really nervous so we had quite a few mistakes in the first few performances but then we became better. Of course we'll work really hard to show everyone a better, more improved, performance.
● Any memorable moments?
Baekhyun: It has to be the first stage we were able to stand on. With seven years of practice and training, this had to be the most awaited and anticipated stage for us, so it was a very meaningful stage. Before going up on stage, we always huddle together to chant a "EXO-K LETS LOVE!", it makes us stronger. When we finally get off stage, our legs were shaking like crazy, our parent's said that their hearts had popped.
● There must be a lot of pressure.
Kai: There was never once that SM Entertainment had debuted something and failed. There was a lot of seniors to give us pointers, so it made us comfortable knowing we have seniors to help us when we debuted. But there was also the question as to "will we ruin the image of the seniors" in our mind, however, when we started the "100 day online promotion", we've received a lot of good feedbacks, not just from the domestic fans, but from the international fans as well. So that's when we thought "we really can do this".
● Debut song was intense since the start.
Sehun: The producer of this song was Yoo Young Jin, whom is in charge of the SMP which is also known as SM Performance, its the style. The style of the song is very similar to TVXQ seniors, where their music is filled with intensity and charismatic performances, but there are also very fresh and colorful mixture in the music too. There are many boy bands out there who debuted with very fresh beats in the music, so with us having this much intensity from the start made us unique and interesting, especially the orchestra included in the tracks.
● The powerful performances too.
Suho: We put a huge emphasis on the stage to differentiate ourselves. Since the music is orchestrated with a very mysterious feeling, the dance moves and performances has to match, so it has to be big and bold. We've been practicing for more than a month or so, we didn't have time to eat or sleep at all, we spend so much time practicing. Especially Kai, who's in charge of center stage, he had to get a good balance and perfect his moves.
● The lyrics have been criticized on the internet
Kai: We are now aware and we accept the criticisms on a moderate level. But when there are harsh comments posted by 'anonymous users', it should disappear. But we haven't really faced any "internet bullying" at the moment, we've only seen cute fans who've written a lot of good things about us.
● Has there been any advices from Seniors?
D.O: TVXQ Senior U-Know Yunho have seen our first broadcast and immediately phoned us all the way from Japan. We opened up the speakerphone, and he carefully gave us pointers one by one including how we should have more facial expressions, and our body movements. I think he was the most caring senior.
● What's a positive advantage, training with SM Entertainment?
Sehun: First off, you get free food. HAHA. Honestly, the biggest advantage is that we get to train in a lot of different aspects. There are many talented dance and vocal trainers and teachers who teaches us different techniques, and we learn them slowly one by one. We are taught the basic manners and proper etiquette . We are also taught what is called a "Broadcast speech" which is trained verbally and teaches us the basic manners.
● You debuted as a twin group.
Chanyeol: When it was first announced, I thought that it was really neat. It was something we should really be proud of and take pride in, when I first heard it, I thought, wow we're really a team now. During dance practice, we'll take videos of one another and monitor it very closely, I think we really improved while pointing out mistakes for one another"
● Member's personal pride
Kai: People had always told me I was a good dancer, whenever I enter a competition I would always win. Ever since 2nd grade, I started learning Ballet. But I never took it seriously until I saw Shinhwa seniors who at that time was really popular and they made me build up my dreams.
Baekhyun: Because I look like the actor "Song Joongki" people started calling me the "doppleganger Song Joongki" , and I've even met him before. I was also in a band back in High school, I also won an award from the Bucheon Rock festival. I also like pop music such as Jamiroquai and Maroon 5.
Suho: During middle school I usually rank the 2~3rd, but ever since I started high school and started focusing on my trainee life, i had to put aside my studies and focus on what I really wanted to do. Even though I had to balance between training and studying, I still think I was doing better than my friends who focuses on sports and art.
● Goal for this year
Suho: We would really love to receive the best rookie award for this year, because being a rookie is once in a life time thing. Since all of our seniors had received this award, it really worries us whether or not we can get it as well.

NU'EST and EXO-K have become rivals in the battle of the boy bands.
NU'EST is a 5-member group formed by JR, Aron, Baekho, Minhyun and Ren and is by Pledis, which houses After School, Son Dambi and more.
NU'EST made a splendid debut in March with their title song 'Face', which is combined with the new music genre, dubstep.
'Face' is a song that talks about school violence, bullying and other social problems, and has expressed the teenagers' same feelings
.
Like NU'EST, gaining high anticipation in the first half of the year is EXO, a 12-member group that is formed by the 6 members Suho, Kai, Chanyeol, Sehun, Baekhyun and D.O, and EXO-M(Kris, Luhan, Xiumin, Chen, Tao, Lay) who is promoting in China at the same time.
Having just debuted in April, EXO-K's new song 'MAMA' reflects the feelings of being alienated, the contradictions and the lack of communications between people in the real and virtual world. The lyrics are not about love, but instead they point out the social problems in the society.
Both groups are songs that criticize the reality of the society, have powerful and strong vocals and dances that are rhythmic, earning the fans' hot responses. As to who will win in this NU'EST and EXO-K battle, it is drawing attention.

CRI Online 2th April reported EXO-M’s Mini Album <MAMA> which was officially released on 8th April in China has swept the music Chart of various online music sites. After the release of 3 singles, they have won weekly champion on YinYueTai Music V Chart, with remarkable results. This good result has earned EXO-M a chance to appear on an interview on <YIN YUE DA LAI BING>. During the interview, they not only received a trophy for their winning, they also drank the local Beijing Soya Bean Juice.
On <YIN YUE DA LAI BING>, the host has presented them with a trophy to congratulate the 3 Single Champion awards of 《 What Is Love》、《 History》、《 MAMA》on their Yin Yue V Chart. Leader, Kris expressed “I never thought that we will receive an award when we have just debuted. This is really a great encouragement for us. I would like to thank all the fans who have been supporting us. Also, I hope to win the Newcomer award in the Year-End Award Ceremony of Yin Yue V Chart. I hope all of the fans can continue to support us”.
In additional, EXO-M’s secrets were being exposed on the show. Everyone was exposing who was the “Narcissistic” , “The best speaker” “The most forgetful” etc. Luhan had the most exposed secrets from the members and received a small forfeit to drink the Beijing Local Soya Bean Juice. All the members could not take the smell of it. However, Tao offered to take a sip to try , and not forgetting that they are a team, they shouted “We are one!” , to share the forfeit together. At the last segment of the show, everyone gathered together and celebrated Luhan’s birthday.
