Actress Lee Da Hae transformed her image by cutting her hair short for the 20th year celebration photo shoot of fashion magazine, ‘Marie Claire’.
Lee Da Hae ditched her feminine, goddess-like and attempted at a never-tried-before short cut hair style. She boasted her sexy charisma and undying fashion sense in a new kind of way with black and white ensembles.
Meanwhile, Lee Da Hae is currently starring in the KBS 2TV drama ‘IRIS 2’.
Lee Da Hae has been learning Chinese really hard in the past few years and it seems that her hard work has paid off!
She is seen speaking in mandarin in the latest filming in a Chinese Soap Opera,instead of dubbing,she memorized and spoke all her lines in mandarin,check out the clip below!
It was announced long ago that Lee Da Hae was cast in a Chinese Drama "Love Recipe" that started its filming last March and despite much criticisms that followed Lee Da Hae, she impressed much with her persistence and determination for her work.
A video of Lee Da Hae acting and speaking in Chinese has gone viral and has actually received good comments. In the video, she is speaking in fluent Chinese which she got praised for. An official said that Lee Da Hae has been studying Chinese for 7 years now and is still continuing to study it to perfect it. Meanwhile, Lee Da Hae's drama will be broadcast this coming August.

Korean actress Lee Da Hae was recently humiliated when a Chinese media outlet featured a picture of her in a feature titled, “Female celebrities with plastic surgery.”
In the article published on Thursday, Lee Da Hae was singled out as, “the one with the most obvious side-effects from surgery.” To make its point clear, the publication compared current pictures of her to photos of when she was a student and when she won the Miss Chunhyang beauty pageant.
“There is a big difference between Lee’s face in her younger days and now. It is clear from the comparisons that she had work done,” the media outlet said. “When she attended the Shanghai Film Festival, her face was different again.”
Other Korean celebrities mentioned in the article were actresses Chae Rim, Yoon Eun Hye, Kim Soyeon, Kim Jung Eun and the deceased singer U;Nee. The Korean entertainment industry is rife with entertainers who have had multiple surgeries.
Actress Lee Da Hae who is currently in China for a drama updated her twitter account on th e 25th of March saying ,"My fans gave me a set of popcorn and beer, Im going to resist not eating these during shooting" and shared a few secla's.
On her selca, she can be seen posing with a container filled with popcorn and a can of beer making a cute expression, it seems that she is busy studying. Netizens commented, "She's so cute, so hardworking too she deserves a can of beer", "It's nice to see she is not that upset about all the controversies surrounding her", "Lee Da Hae fighting!".
Lee Da Hae will be making her advancement into the Chinese market. She has recently been cast as the leading female role in a Chinese drama. The first shoot will take place in Shanghai, China on the 5th of March.
The drama is about the success story of a chef based in a dumpling house and Lee Da Hae will play the leading character named Soha who overcomes all obstacles in her unfortunate life, raising her niece altogether.
A representative from Forestar Entertainment revealed, "Lee has prepared herself for a long time by learning English and Chinese and we feel that she will have no problems with taking on an international project."
"Her fluency in Chinese helps her get continuous love calls from the country", he added.
Meanwhile, Lee Da Hae has about 2,600,000 followers on her Chinese SNS Weibo and was once an issue for her appearance on a Chinese program without an interpreter after having mastered the language for 7 years since the release of 2005 "Green Rose".

Following the announcement of the expiration of Lee Da Hae's contract with DBM Entertainment last December, several large-scale management agencies were scrambling to get in contact with the actress in hopes of nabbing a contract. And after considering a number of offers, Lee Da Hae has signed with Forestar Entertainment.
On February 29, the agency announced that Lee Da Hae made the decision to sign with Forestar Entertainment, the company that has been successfully sending many of its signed celebrities to markets in China and elsewhere and also manages the career of actor Jung Sukwon.
"I wanted to be part of an agency that I felt comfortable with and I knew that Forestar was the right choice for me in order to pursue my activities in the country and abroad," Lee Da Hae said in the statement.
Forestar CEO stated, "Lee has prepared herself for a long time by learning English and Chinese and we feel that she will have no problems with taking on an international project."
The actress is currently preparing to advance into the Chinese market through dramas, movies and advertisements before she begins to prepare for her entry into Hollywood.
