After School's Kahi expressed her sad feelings following the ending of her drama KBS "Dream High 2".
On March 21st, Kahi wrote via her Twitter, "Dream High 2... It’s over. My first drama, full of things I’ll miss! Directors, staff, and co-stars, you all suffered so much. I was truly happy. We got closer, but it was still awkward. Now, I can finally smile. You all worked hard, everyone~ ‘Dream High 2′, I love you!"
"Dream High 2" was Kahi’s debut drama, where she played the role of Hyun Ji Soo, a charismatic dance instructor of Kirin High School of the Arts and a director of OZ Entertainment in the series.
At the beginning of the series, Kahi appeared as a cold-hearted career woman, but she soon became a mentor for the students and gave them hearty advice. The drama wrapped up with its final episode on March 20th.

On the 20th of March Dream High 2 aired it's last episode and it received 6.6% viewer rating. MBC "Light and Shadow" took the biggest slice of the cake getting 22.2% and SBS's new drama "Fashion King" got 8.9% rating.
Dream High 2 has been receiving single digits and has been getting decline in ratings week after week and despite the high status cameo's of idol stars, it barely helped the ratings. Viewers said that the story and plot was complicated and inconsistent along with the characters of the drama.

It's rating for it's latest episode sunk to 5.7% which fell from 5.8% from last 13th of March.
The show is the complete opposite of the success Dream High Season 1 garnered when it came to viewer ratings. Viewers shared their thoughts saying that they are disappointed with the story development. Meanwhile, SBS new drama "Fashion King" which aired it's first episode received a good first episode rating receiving 10.0% and MBC "Light and Shadow" received 22.5% viewer rating.

With only a couple episodes left, KBS "Dream High 2" has revealed that girl group miss A will be making a cameo appearance in the drama.
Suzy, who previously played Go Hyemi in the original "Dream High", along with fellow miss A members will be making their appearances on an episode. The girls will be starring as themselves, a popular idol group, that visits Girin Arts High School to support the super idol’s stage.
Suzy especially has been working hard promoting her music with her group as well as working on her movie "Introduction to Architecture", but that didn’t stop her from coming back to her first drama.
T-ara's Jiyeon and co-star JB has teamed up for their duet track "Together", which comes from part 7 of the OST for KBS drama "Dream High 2." Written by Park Jin Young, the new single is an emotional track that sings about a special someone who makes the difficult process of working towards an uncertain future seem worthwhile.
The OST album of "Dream High 2" has released multiple hits so far, including J.Y. Park‘s "Falling", miss A member Suzy‘s "You Are My Star", Wonder Girls‘ Yenny‘s "Hello To Myself", HershE's "Super Star" and Kang Sora and 2AM Jinwoon’s "B Class Life."

KBS drama "Dream High 2" continues to struggle in their viewer ratings and week after week their viewer rating continues to decline. On the 11th of March, it was reported that their viewer rating for this week's episode dropped to 6.4% compared to last week's rating of 7.9%.
Despite a romantic kissing scene for the new episode, their viewer rating still dropped 1.5% for this week. Dream High 2 has struggled following the first part Dream High 1 which achieved remarkable ratings getting average of 20% viewer rating. Viewers opinion was that even though the drama has a lot of popular idol's in it, the story development is inconsistent along with the character's.
Meanwhile, SBS's "History of the salary man" get's 18.7% viewer rating while MBC "Light and Shadow" received 16.3% viewer rating.
On March 2nd, JYP Entertainment released a music video for the track "B Class Life", from the Dream High 2 OST.
Created by Park Jin Young, "B Class Life" music video features lead cast Kang Sora, 2AM's Jinwoon and more and showcases highlight scenes from the drama.
“Dream High,” a Korean musical drama co-produced and distributed by KBS was nominated on Tuesday in the youth category of Rose d’Or, a global television festival in Switzerland.
The Korean drama was the only Asian program out of 36 nominated for one of 12 different categories at the festival in Lucerne, which runs from May 7-10.
The drama that portrays the passion and agony of teens dreaming about becoming stars will compete in the festival against BBC’s “Leonardo, Wing and a Prayer,” and “You’re Not a Werewolf” by West German Broadcasting.
The BBC show is an action-packed mystery and drama series about a teenage Leonardo da Vinci, while the German program follows a problem-solving Wolfman who gives advice to struggling teens. More than 400 programs from around the world were submitted for nominations.
“Recently, Korean dramas as well as K-pop are getting popular not only in Asia but also in Europe and the Americas. I think the jury gave higher marks because the program effectively combined the two power factors,” Cho Dae-hyun, president of KBS Media, told The Korea Herald at the Nominees Night in Kuala Lumpur.
KBS programs have been nominated for the Golden Rose Awards since 2006. In 2010, two programs by KBS ― “My Too Perfect Sons” and “The Golden Bell Challenge” ― were nominated. However, none have ever won a prize.
Cho said this year will be different because of the growing interest in K-pop all over the world, as well as the quality and creativity of South Korean dramas, which have matured over the years.
“The Korean entertainment industry is the one of the most competitive markets in the world. We train actors and singers for many years to create quality dramas as well as entertainment programs. And also we collaborate with world-renowned experts,” Cho said.
“I know the Rose d’Or festival is putting more focus on programs from Europe and the Americas and hopefully it also will be the place where more Asian works can be introduced,” he added.
“Dream High,” aired in early 2011, was produced by Bae Yong-jun, an actor who achieved pan-Asian fame with hit drama “Winter Sonata.” Bae also starred in the series.
The drama features K-pop stars including Taecyeon and Wooyoung from boyband 2PM, Ham Eun-jeong from girl group T-ara and singer IU. It was also partly produced by Park Jin-young, singer and producer for JYP Entertainment.
“Dream High,” gained a viewers’ rating of over 20 percent in Korea, and was exported to more than 20 countries in Asia and in Europe, said Cho of KBS Media, a KBS affiliate in charge of both domestic and overseas sales of the broadcaster’s content.
The drama drew attention from many Asian TV producers and managers who attended the Rose d’Or’s Nominees Night event in Kuala Lumpur, its first official event in Asia. The Swiss-based festival aims to bring more Asian programs to its annual event.
“The answer is simple: Asia’s television market is the second largest in the world and it is growing fast,” said Marc Walder, CEO of Ringier Switzerland and Germany. Ringier Switzerland is the largest media company in the country and the parent company of the Rose d’Or.
Founded in 1961 in Montreux, the Rose d’Or Festival is now held in Lucerne, Switzerland, and is one of the world’s most prestigious entertainment television festivals. It has become a platform and a marketplace for TV professionals, producers, managers of private and public TV stations and production companies from all over the world.
An international jury of 50 experts selects three nominees in each category. The winners in the 12 categories ― including comedy, sitcom, game show, live event show and TV movie ― and the Best of 2012 will be selected by a final, 10-member jury.

"Dream High 2" Rian (T-ara's Jiyeon) wears eyeliner even while sick in bed.
On the ninth episode of the KBS 2TV drama "Dream High 2", aired on February 27th, Rian was taken to the hospital after being hit in the head with a soccer ball.
Jin Yoo-jin (Jinwoon) carried her to the hospital right away. JB took them in his car. Rian was told to take some rest in the hospital when she woke up.
After a long time, Rian woke up and worried if she looked sick when she heard that her mother was coming. Yoo-jin said, "What are you getting so worked up for, it's your mom" to which Rian replied, "I'm not getting worked up, my mom is the best at nagging".
The scene where she wakes up after a long time of sleeping should make her seem thin and worn but her strong eye make-up was still there.
After the broadcast, netizens said, "Jiyeon would look pretty without the eyeliner but she always wears it so thick. Her make up should change to fit the scene", "I know she's an idol but that's too much make up for a high school student" and more.

Following the release of "Super Star" from fictional girl group HershE, part five of the OST for KBS2 drama "Dream High 2" has been released. This time, it features a ballad track from Lee Ki Chan.
Titled "Sick of Hope," the song is sorrowful ballad that tells about a one-sided love in which one doesn’t know if the love will be reciprocated.
Some of the casts of the first season of Dream High such as IU and Kim Soo Hyun already cameo on the second season of the drama. And it has been revealed that Wonder Girls' Yeeun will be on hit drama Dream High 2.
The photo above is from the drama and Yeeun will cameo as a mentor. This episode (Episode 9) will be aired on the 27th of this month, Monday at 9:55PM KST.

The fictional girl group HershE has released the fourth OST from the KBS 2TV drama "Dream High 2" entitled “Superstar“.
HershE is comprised of the drama’s main stars, SISTAR‘s Hyorin, T-ara‘s Jiyeon, and rookie soloist Ailee. They are the top idol group of Kirin Arts High School.
On February 21st, HershE released new single “Superstar“, a song which features a strong disco beat and electronic sound. Check it out below!

Being busy as an actress and as well as a singer, fans delivered gifts for T-ara's Jiyeon.
Jiyeon's currently cast in KBS 2TV's drama "Dream High 2" and today, fans came to the set and presented a special gift for Jiyeon and staff (Diadem's joint-support project).The actors and crew have been filming through the cold winter, so a warm meal was prepared.
Jiyeon said, "I'm happy that the actors and staff can enjoy a hot meal together in the cold. I want to thank my fans more than anything for it."
Jiyeon plays girl group member Rian in "Dream High 2" and in real life is a member of T-ara, who is currently promoting "Roly-Poly" in Japan.

Under her producer's alias, "Ha:tfelt", Wonder Girls' member Ye Eun has released her self-composed single, “Hello To Myself” for the Dream High 2 series.
Ye Eun made new name Ha:tfelt for herself as a producer and actively participated in Wonder Girls' previous album, as she helped write and produce the Wonder Girls song "G.N.O". She also participated in the rearrangement of Shin Joong Hyun’s hit track “Beauty” into the Wonder Girls rendition, “Me, In.”
Another demonstration of her musical talents, Ye Eun released “Hello To Myself”, a beautiful ballad that works perfectly in her lovely and soft voice.

The sweet history behind Rian (T-ara's Jiyeon) and JB (JB) in "Dream High 2" was revealed.
On the fifth episode of KBS 2TV drama "Dream High 2" aired in the 13th, there was a kiss scene by Rian and JB.
Rian became a public enemy for she was being accused of having taken out the batteries of Sin Hae-seong's (Kang Sora) microphone. JB consoled her saying, "I don't think you're that bad" and hugged her. Sin Hae-seong who witnessed this was in shock.
Their affectionate gesture was replayed in a recollection scene as well. JB was worried and visited her while Rian was passing through a nirvana and received boot training. He looked for her everywhere and eventually found her in front of the swings.
The training camp swing was a memorable place for the two of them. That was where trainee JB full of passion to make his debut, first kissed her. The recollection scene revealed their sweet history.
However, it wasn't always as good as it seemed. The way JB didn't deny it when Nana (SISTAR's Hyorin) said, "I know you still like Rian" hinted that things weren't all over for them.
