After the success of his SBS drama ‘Faith’, actor Lee Min Ho will be returning to television with writer Kim Eun Sook’s drama ‘The Heirs’ (working title).

On March 29th, Lee Min Ho’s management agency Starhaus Entertainment announced, “Lee Min Ho is confirmed to play the male lead on ‘The Heirs’ which will run 20 episodes with Kim Eun Sook as the writer and Kang Shin Hyo as the director.”

Lee Min Ho said, “I’ve always wanted to work with Kim Eun Sook and this time my dream is coming true. I am excited for this one and to be with the writer and director I’ve always respected.”

TVXQ‘s Changmin has been selected as one of the MCs for the KBS 2TV upcoming variety program ‘Neighborhood Entertainment’.

‘Neighborhood Entertainment’ is an entertainment program about celebrities and normal people battling one another in sports games. It is the replacement to Changmin and Kang Ho Dong’s previous show, ‘Moonlight Prince’.

SM Entertainment revealed on March 28, “Max Changmin has successfully finished the shooting of the program on the 27th at Yeouido. He will show his talent as an entertainer again like he did at his first MC work on ‘Moonlight Prince’.”

Changmin will join the top-notch MCs, Kang Ho Dong and Lee Soo Geun. The new program is expected to air its first episode on April 9th.

Actor Lee Min Ho had his first fan meeting in Indonesia at Jakarta Convention Center on March 23, and met up with about 5,000 fans.

His label, Starhaus Entertainment said, “A great number of fans gathered at Jakarta airport to celebrate his first visit to Indonesia, and even a great number of airport personnel were busy trying to take photos of him.”

In addition, due to excessive number of crowds, the venue for the press conference was changed. At the site, some VIP political people also participated, proving the overwhelming popularity of Lee Min Ho.

Lee Min Ho appeared on the stage singing a song, and had a wonderful time with his fans for about 3 hours playing games, giving out presents and taking photos. He said, “I should’ve come much earlier. I’m sorry, and thank you for waiting me for a long time.”

Actor Lee Seung Gi revealed how he feels toward challenging on history drama for the first time as well as working with young singer-actress, Suzy.

Lee Seung Gi will play the role of the outgoing and reckless character, Choi Kang Chi on upcoming MBC drama ‘Book of the House of Gu’. Regarding on his first history drama, he said, “I was worried if I would be able to do well as there’s certain limitations on history drama. But the staff prepared everything so well that I think I’m getting close to my character.”

He added, I tried to have the appearance of Choi Kang Chi. I practiced action and riding horses. I lost 3 kgs as well for this drama.

Working together with Suzy, who is younger than him, Lee Seung Gi commented, “She is filled with freshness. She is the first partner younger than me. The energy of a 20 year old Suzy will be a big help while we film.”

It’s already been 6 years since KARA made her debut into the entertainment industry. The group celebrated their long-running success by tweeting a special message of thanks to the fans.

KARA’s leader, Gyuri wrote, “I’m just thankful. I’m thankful for people who care and love KARA… and thankful for people who care for someone like me. Ah this is getting really sincere haha. Anyway no matter what people say I’m grateful that I’m still doing my dreams and also thanks to my parents. Thank you to everyone haha…”

Hara tweeted, “Wow. i fell asleep early and just woke up now. There was a commotion on twitter. Why… because it’s KARA's 6th anniversary~~ Wow awesome. RaNia has revealed plans to start promotions in the U.S. and they will be managed by Britney Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph and Adam Lieber.

The group signed a distribution deal with Empire Records specializing in R&B music. They also signed a promotional deal with Fireworks Management for their upcoming activities in the U.S. music market.

Their agency DR Music stated, “Larry Rudolph asked this and that about our group at Fireworks and then said he wants to be part of our management. This is good news for us and we know this management combination cannot be obtained easily.”
